  1. I think the displacer gets stuck or some thing.? every half a turn of the small pully ...all I did was take off the bolt from the small pully and turned it very slow by hand.
  2. Urgent!!. I was trying to check the timing on my G ladder. so I took off the bolt on the top pully(small one) to see where the keyway is .aligned bothkeyways pointing at 12. oclock. but now as I turn the small pully (belt off),very slowly, I feel a light bump from inside the charger and the pully kinda stops and goes the opposite direction for a bit then comes turns back to normal . this happens every exactly 360 degrees . I have recently blown a charger and this is a new one I dont want to mess it up...if I have not already. :( did I just break the charger or what??? I cant belive it is so fragile......

    Serpentine belt G60.

    it is a Corrado G60 LHD.I guess if I dont find the pulley I will just keep the compressor on, I am trying to free some space for a front mount intercooler which I already ordered :D

    Serpentine belt G60.

    I am running a 68mm pulley, so I should get the 1658 belt along with the 9.5x663 belt and a different water pump pulley, can you tell me what part number for the water pump pully or any pics? thanks alot.
  5. I want to remove my A/C setup from my G60 , can some one tell me what Vbelt should I get ,I know it is 6pk 1755 with A/C compressor. thanks.
  6. I had the same problem, I changed fuse no.17 and it all went back to normal. welcome to the forum :D

    ECU numbers.

    I am getting a new Ecu for my g60 but mine has these numbers on it 0261 200 342 DF1 037 906 022 cn the one I am looking at getting has these . ........... 0 261 200 280 DF1 037 906 022 b it is a 1990 g60 ?why are the numbers different for the same ca?

I thought that the charger gets lubricated through the oil line from the engine block. isn't that true ? if it is I dont see any good reason why there must be oil vapor coming back to the charger. . But by time the oil vapor will get stuck in IC and the pipes to the intake. Does this mean every now and then I have to clean the IC&pipes?
  10. can some one clear out this for me :?: . I am still confused about why is there a breather on the engine and why is it connected to the supercharger through the bypass pipe ? I realize that the bypass tube lets excess boost return to the SC, but that also means that the air will carry oil from the engine to the SC, thus the SC will pump that oil back to the the Intake, which is Bad for the engine right?. Thanks.
  11. What do you guys use to clean your enginebay? I tried cleaning it today with some water & washing solution but it did'nt do much especially where there is grease. is there some kind of solution other than carb-cleaner to get grease off ? :?: Thanks.

  13. then why do I get the fuel reading wrong ?. the needle goes down rapidly while I am in traffic, then jump's back up again while on the highway? I have changed the intsrument cluster but it did'nt help,could it be an electrical problem? what can I check to see if it is?

Since I bought my car I was always getting the fuel reading wrong in my 1990 g60 so I took the intank pump off today ,can any one tell me if this is the right one for my car (the secound pic is what I have in my car).the previous owner told me that he changed the pump and installed a new one , I am afraid he installed the wrong one in. the first pic is what I suspect is the right one.??

  17. It turned out that this little belt has caused my super charger to blow . I could have changed it for 6 euros and saved my charger .**** :x.

  19. alright thanks henny. but can you give me your opinion on a turbo setup? is it really more reliable than the charger?
  20. the car has about 170000 the charger was never rebuild a big hole on top of the charger that was never there should be a clear indication that it is not in working order I guess? I hope I am wrong :roll: . I will post some pics tomorrow.
  21. I was always afraid it whould happen to me.but today it did. I dont know what to do now, get a new charger or fit a turbo or just sell the car for half it's price.I am thinkiong of turbo setup but I need some advice from some one who has done a turbo setup to his corrado. what are the plus and the minus of it. I hear that the turbo is more reliable than the supercharger I dont know how true is that .

    fuelpump question???

    well that link doesn't really help at all ,I want to know if there is any relay I can change to let the fuel pump go back to normal .
  23. my g60 fuel pump used to stay on for a long time , so I took it to a mechanic and he fixed it(or not) it used to stay on for about 3-4 minutes. now it just shut off when I turn the ignition off. I saw him do something in the fuse box took out a couple of relay's and replaced them. can someone tell me what he did? or is there a relay for the fuelpump that controls it after ignition is off.
