  3. it is relay no. 12 on the fuse box.that's the fuel pump relay.

    RODENTS!!!!

I heard somewhere that if you put a peace of coal in your car it will go away  .here's a good idea SUE Mcdonald's for putting a rodent in your food you can get millions out of it
  5. I dont really know how messy the job is but I would appreciate it if someone can tell me the part number for these things mine are all worn out . did you buy new one jokey? cheers.
  6. Where is the clutch fluid reservoir in the corrado , does it have one ?beacuse I was looking at a Subaru WRX the otherday and there it has one and it made me wonder why does'nt my car have this cute little reservoir
  7. Alright here is a nice story , I was driving on the highway when a beemer decided he wants to race with me, No problem I can do that 8) So I step on the gas and here we go, probably around 100 m/h Boom  the sunroof exploded as it was'nt properly shut I guess and I had all the windows closed , the wind just tore it apart from one side of the rail, lucky for me it is still connected on the drivers side rail and it didnt fly out on any other car. so now I need a new sunroof assembly. and get the upholstery of the roof done as well Ahh here's another 250$ if not more on the corrado at the begining of year 2005 HAPPY NEW YEAR  .
  8. I am ready to reinstall a wiring loom of a 1991 g60 on 1990 model , after a couple of failed attempts(starter and fuelpump work but car will not fireup+ buzzing from ecu relay when trying to ignite), I will try to do it for the last time. but I have some questions that i'll appreciate if some one can help me with. I was looking at the bentley manual wiring diagrams and they seem to match together on most connections ,except for a black with white stripe wire on the 1990 model that is puzzling me ,it comes from the ECU(pin -23-) to the fuse box (G1/7) . now what confuses me is that this wire is not on the 1991 loom .going back to the bentley book this wire got something to do with the Digifant control unit relay.??? could this be the source of my problem, or something else ?? one other question what is the (ECS-mulfunction indicator light and switch) and where is it located. it is on the 1990 model but not on 1991??? thanks.
  9. there is a Left hand drive g60 that is still for 1000 and 4 hours left check it out ....hury only 4 hours left. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 13516&rd=1 Look for the reason why he is selling it , :) I hate to see that happen to me.
  10. so the way he measured it is right? I would use the MFA but the thing doesnt read anything except trip miles right.
  11. can someone please tell me what is the normal boost pressure for the g60 , and where do you exactly measure it from, I had it measured yesterday but I suspect the guy did something wrong , he took the hose from the intake mani to the fuel pressure regulator and connected the boost pressure meter to the intake and it was giving less than 2 bar on 6000 rpm,. thanks.
  12. Here is some useful information I thought I would share with you guys. HOW-TO-READ A COMPRESSOR MAP using a map of a T04E 60 trim I will explain all the numbers on the map. 1-left side, PRESSURE RATIO (14.7 + amount of boost) / 14.7 = PR so to figure out the PR for 8 PSI (14.7 + 8 ) / 14.7 = 1.54 PR 2-bottom side, AIRFLOW RATE UNDER BOOST (LB/MIN on this map) Most methods of calculation your engine's airflow rate will give you the answer in cubic feet per minute (CFM). However most compressor maps measure airflow rate in pounds per minute (LB/MIN). As some of you may know the weight of air varies with the temperature. To convert CFM to LB/MIN use the following numbers. @ 48 degrees F : (CFM * 0.078125) = LB/MIN @112 degrees F : (CFM * 0.070318) = LB/MIN @175 degrees F : (CFM * 0.06251) = LB/MIN Say for example our airflow rate is 500 CFM , and the temperature is 112 degrees F. (500 * 0.070318) = 35.16 LB/MIN 3-dotted line on far left side of "ovals", SURGE LIMIT It is important to try and keep yourself on the right side of this dotted line whenever possible. If you fall to the left of this dotted line you will experience compressor surge. This type of compressor surge will occur when there is too much boost, but not enough airflow through the system, usually this is between idle and the point at which full boost is reached. The chirping sound that can be heard is a result of the oscillating air. This sound is often described as a "Snakelike" sound or a che-che-che sound. *staying in the "surge limit" area for too long could possibly damage your turbo. 4-numbers on far right, 46,020, 69,640, 83,972 etc, COMPRESSOR RPM This is RPM at which the compressor fans will be turning. an average RPM is between 90,000 and 130,000. The line that branches out from each of these numbers that goes towards the surge limit line shows you the RPM range of the compressor fan across the entire compressor map. 5-78%,75%, 74%, COMPRESSOR EFFICIENCY This is related to the temp of air and how much it is being heated up as it is being compressed by the compressor. A low number (60%) means that the compressor is heating the air more a high number (78%) means the air is not heated as much when it is compressed. 6-"Ovals" I you look closely you will see that the compressor efficiency numbers usually sit right on top of one of these Oval lines. These Ovals show you the boundaries of the compressor efficiency at the different percentiles. Think of it as a topography map that shows you different elevations or changes in elevations. The innermost Oval on the sample T04 E 60" is not labeleb but it is probably 79% or 80%, so any where inside that Oval and you would be operating in the 80% range of that compressor.
  13. Has anyone fitted an APEXi DIGITAL BOOST CONTROLLER to his G60, I am looking at one at ebay and I plan to get it , but just want an advice from someone who actuayl has it installed to his car or has some experiance with it, is it reliable?
  14. I am just curious who has the (least/most) miles on his corrado in the forum?. 8)
  15. I dont know what I did wrong. I was unplugging a relay from above the fusebox with a screwdriver and mistakenly made contact inside the relay connections and the fuse that is connected to the relay was burned (20 amp) so I got a new relay and fuse--- now to the fun part , my mfa screen does not work any more, nore my high beam light  did i burn the mfa screen and my headlights high beam??
  16. I think semi synthetic is better for the g60 engine as it is not too thin as the full synthetic. and also it depends on the existing climate too. I usually use 10w/40 semi synthetic. 8)
  17. yeah look neat alright  kinda like my car used to be when I was reinstalling the engine wiring loom .
  18. I am 24 and here is the list of cars I had. 18-19 Nissan 200sx 1986 (staled on every intersection) 18-20 olds cutlesssupreme 1985. 20-21 toyota celica st 1993 (totaled). 21-21 ford taurus 1990 . 21--- merc 300e 1990 23--- corrado g60 1990 :D 8)
  19. Check this out: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 93849&rd=1. would be a pretty good conversion for a lucky rado , but check the price on it . I think I'll wait until it becomes cheaper, around a 1000 MAYBE
  20. my radiator fan starts working way before engine is at normal temp. and it wont let it reach 80 (which is normal temp), why is that, I recently had some idling problems and I noticed that when I disconnected the fan thermo switch and let the tempreture go up to 80 the idle was all fine. :?:
  21. only when I let it idle, and it drives kinda rough (the engine noise is too high for the rpm its showing)this is the best i can describe it. I measured the Air/fuel ratio and it was running rich. the is no air leak and the hose that goes to the Ecu is exactly 100cm long, any suggestion on how to stop the shaking? by the way its a g60.
  22. I cant find the speed sensor on my 1990 g60, does it have one? I am sure later models have it, but where is it located ,and if I dont have it can I install one on my car?
  23. task

    ECU question?

does any one know if the 1990 corrado ECU can fit on a 1991 corrado?
