Some escorts are but there is a 1.6 Harrier on eBay... Nut and bolt rebuild for over £20k Nut and bolt corrado may get near £10k but in every way is a better car
-
Yes mate. Bought from Germany at well over 100 cheaper than UK
-
....... Yeah baby arrived today to join my Eibach springs. Will be on by the end of the month.
-
I think there is a lot more interest than we give it credit for.... 8000 plus likes And hundreds of very positive comments. But more exposure has got to help. How can an escort mk 2 be selling for 3 or even 4+ Times what a Corrado goes for
-
Maybe that's why they started showing it on their Facebook page.

If you don't intend doing the rears at all ever then its not worth buying the whole kit - C&R will do the front only but they are about £77 just for fronts - so if you are thinking of doing rears then the full kit works out great value

Hi Dave if these are still available - can I please get a full set of all (inc air intake cover one) - actually do I even have an air filter one? VR6.... total Is £35 I think (if you can confirm) - message me with your PayPal details and I will send payment Many thanks David -
Hi Jim are you remapping the as standard car or have you done any mods - would be interested in the before and after for this and if its worth the money. I know you wont get much on the top but hear you get a different feel lower down. Thinking of a sports exhaust then having the remap
-
That's true I suppose 0 cant access ebay at work - its blocked for some reason so will look later - just begrudge paying 4 -5 times the price for these ones over the standard but suppose if I want this done properly I will just have to swallow it
-
Hi Dox and thanks - yes saw those ones but was hoping to find them cheaper especially as the standard ones are only around £10 for a pair arghhh! - thought also if someone is breaking one where they have them I may be able to get substantially cheaper
-
Does anyone have a pair of the larger spring top mounts part number is 1H0412341. Apparently the after VRs were fitted with slightly smaller ones that do not accommodate aftermarket lowering springs (Eibach Pro)- I understand these have a 110mm dia. I can find some on eBay but they are 4 times the price of standard so hoping some kind person has some out there? Thanks
-
Well based on the fact the fiat panda got 2500 the Corrado, if there were any justice, would get 10k
-
Will give them a try.. Thanks
-
May have a look over winter but I don't have many skills like that and will probably make it worse haha
-
If you manage it... Fancy doing a second one? Lol
-
Thanks for checking... Found them on one site. Standard size are about a tenner. The larger ones are silly money at over 50

Ah OK! Just need to find myself an auto electrician that likes a challenge as im soooo sure its something electrical - otherwise why would it tilt and slide manually but not electrically?! Something tells me the motor isn't man enough (as it stutters - you have to keep pressing and unpressing button and each time it moves 1cm) but we did change this over and still did not work - although the other motor moved it slightly better than the original
-
As I understand it from Mr Ox - you can also change over the mechanism / cassette from a Mk3 golf but retain the original steel roof. Its one of those jobs I can imagine will sty on the back burner for a long time as never open my roof anyway. My problem is and one day someone will come up with the fix is tat it looks like my mechanism works ok - I can slide and tilt it manually but in some way the motor doesn't work - changed the motor and switch and still had the same problem - its definitely something electrical but cannot find the fault! Im hoping someone has a eureka moment and knows what the fix is - one day!
-
Thanks Kev - already have the Eibach pro springs - which should be the same as in the B12 kit so if I match that with B8s I should have the same - just trying to source some front spring mounts at the moment as understand these need changing as on the later VRs they were smaller
-
Lol - thanks for the reply Kevin was just getting ready to order the B8s on Thursday (payday) - hope the pound stays strong against the euro! My reasoning was that its the B8s that are with the Eibachs to make up the B12s which everyone on here seems to like. Now im not sure haha! this is so typically me when I have to spend lots of money! As like the idea of the slightly softer ride the B6s will offer argghhhh! what to do?
