Tom not sure if part numbers are no them but if so I think it's 1H0412341. Thanks
-
Hi Tom... Yes think that's what I mean.... Apparently they fitted the later VR s with smaller ones but any that have an aftermarket spring will have to have this
-
Hi Tom - do you have a decent pair of front spring mounts for the larger after market springs (thing they are 110mm but not sure! - if you need the part number I can dig it out but you probably know what I mean. Thanks
-
Don't disagree... Way too cheap Leon
-
One of the problems is there are loads of cars out there for 2-3k and people seem to think that's the average value but those cars are sheds with problems that have been abused.... To get a good one that's been loved costs a premium that is not being recognised
-
Is it actually overpriced or are they all generally underpriced/undervalued! Its the owners that keep the price down!

97 in a 70, what's the probable outcome?

Its our great legal system - depends where you get caught etc - fines and points seem to vary so much -
Looking superb - will watch out for you in Swindon (and your BBS centre cap)

Funny enough so does the Radio Times TV listings but Discovery Website says Caterham - oh well guess it will be a surprise as will when the Corrado is on lol.
-
The new one is series 12 and its on at 9pm each Monday on Discovery - according to the web site next is Caterham

Ok - you can tell I had far too much drinking at the weekend - completely forgot I had already asked this question?! - Thanks though Jim

OK - trying tio get some prices from Europe on B6 and B8 as it seems to be around £100 cheaper even after shippimng - love being screwed over in good old blighty! - Just to confirm - The VR6 is Plus axle isn't it? And also has everyone that's fitted to a VR have you had to get the bigger spring mounts? (110mm) Thanks
-
So if im just going with the 25-30mm which the Eibach springs allow - would the B6 be more suitable?
-
Ooo now I have another decision to make B8 or B6??!!
-
What's the difference between B8 and B6? And yes was juts replacing springs and shocks - and may do a couple of other bits (just budget stops me doing it all - so just wanted to know what the mots important things to be done tat can be done at same time as that work is done
-
Will do Jim - probably best (like the B12s) to source them from Europe - especially as the £ to Euro is quite good at the moment. May even see if Bilstein will do a Europe price match - worth a try!
-
One more question please .... Not that mechanical myself so will be getting m garage to change the suspension. Need to keep the cost down but want to do the right things - while they are doing that are there any parts I should renew at the same time - that would not need significant additional labour?
-
Aha! - so the "Plusachse" is the plus - got it and should have noticed that myself! Thanks so looks like Im going down the B12 equivalent route myself very soon - will see if I can find a decent price in Europe somewhere and import the B8s - don't want to pay UK prices ha-ha!
-
Hi All - I have obtained a set of Eiback lowering springs and have been told that buying the B8s from Bilsteind make an equivalent of the B12 set. I have had an email from Bistein saying the below - - HELP - what does this mean and what do I need for VR6 Corrado Thanks Thank you for your enquiry to confirm as you have lowered springs would suggest B8 dampers they are 2 options listed Bilstein B8 - Sprint Damper 35-043928 Fitment Notes: for vehicles with "Plusachse" only; mono-tube Or we also list Bilstein B8 - Sprint Damper 35-043911 Fitment Notes: mono-tube Please check details and i can confirm price and stock.
