yep you can get the e marked right hand drive ones which are fully legal in the uk. most people tend to say they dont give as much light, but its probably the pattern thats not as effective. neil. :D
-
nope,it was snapped in half, hanging on the top toothed bit and not connected to the charger pulley! im pretty sure its been snapped for a while? but h100vw said it couldnt have been? neil. :)
-
maybe worth changing the fuel filter as a matter of course and as a cheap elimination process. are the pumps noisier than normal? neil. :)
-
h100vw, thanks for letting me ring you m8. :thumb right:

Quick question, does the corrado g60 come with ABS?
Riley replied to oldirtybastard's topic in General Car Chat
my 92 j plate has abs :D just sommet else to go wrong i reckon :!: neil. -
my m8 calls me his chief mechanic  but i just make any adjusments or changes to the car when he comes in,theres normally a few of us working in the pit area, guess they will have to cope without me  its his first rally of the year since 5 linking it and rebuilding the vauxhall engine/changing the box, diff and final drive etc. its just my luck really. neil.
-
stress releif, aye i could do with somma that lately :( cheers guys, suppose ill have to have a better look tommorow, great! the bit of money going towards the rallying will probably need adding too for sorting the c out  and ill have to do it myself as well, cant afford labour at the mo but im sicka pissing about with cars lately. neil.

mines decided to go more insane than it was today. works fine on switch, but when above 45ish mph its sort of half way up while continously moving up and down real fast. and then after watching the silly bastard, parked up and all the water poured out  whos not going where they should be tommorow  sorry! neil.
-
supposed to be going supporting a m8 tommorow at the 3 sisters go kart track in wigan,he's rallying his mk2 escort. so i took the c for some optimax earlier today ready for the trip, its around a 10 mile drive but a nice open roaded one. everything was fine, temps etc. on the way back i wound it up a bit along the way, watching the spoiler jerking up and down real fast like it didnt know what to do  anyway all was well, got home, turned it off and stood talking to the g/f for 5 mins, decided on polishing the c for tommorow. got in it drove forward a little, reversed back to get on the drive and i was leaving a trail, switched it off and stuck my head under front bumper and coolant was dripping from the cambelt side. water level was down but not by much, started it again while looking and coolant was pouring out,but i cant tell where the hell its coming from! took out the airbox and started it again, still couldnt tell, plastic shit everywhere, does my head in. fuck me all that to say, yeah water pouring out from cambelt side. im pissed off man. neil.

Battery light and voltage regulator query - wee UPDATE
Riley replied to Rossco's topic in Engine Bay
could still be the battery, there never the same once they have run down a couple a times. maybe the old v regulater knackered it too, putting fluctuating amounts of voltage/amps into it? 13.8 volts sounds right charging wise for when the cars running, have you monitored the voltage of just the battery over a longer period? also see what sort of steady voltage your getting through the little blue wire to the battery. as said though  new alternater eliminates a possability,so does a battery. why not go for a good battery and at worst you may need an alternater too? neil, with closed eyes :? -
bts=blue temp sender m8? we checked the timing with the sensor disconnected, thats right aint it? cheers :D
-
thanks gibber m8,sorry i should have explained better,i meant the boost reading on the mfa at tickover  neil. oh,i wont be able to make the meet this sunday,im watching a m8 rallying at wigan,3 sisters, anyone else going? :D
