id change em for the hell of it m8,just so you know theyre good for definate. :wink: keep a look on ebay if you use it,theres a guy on there does them for £20 delivered i think? maybe a couple a quid postage... neil. :)

i understand that the fmic is good through being able to have a more dense air in the intake,but what are the actual gains? just interested in the difference to be had from simply? running a front mount. cheers,neil. :)

they finally turned up! :D thing is i aint too familiar with corrado/mk3 type suspension. im gonna replace front top mounts at same time,is there anything else? what about the rear,are there 2 rubbers like on mk1/mk2 golfs? and any general tips? are the front struts camber adjustable with the top bolt like on the golfs? any pics/info appreciated. cheers,neil. 8)

thanks henny,to be honest it sounds like itll be more fun putting this one back together :lol: do gsf do the gaskets? or i suppose gasket paper would be fine? and what ya reckon to the t/b? neil,taking over another topic! :oops:

yep,the vr6 is a chain system with plastic runners,a bit of a barsteward to do when ive helped m8's change em before. sorry thats as much as i know m8. neil. :)

yep gotta remember that powerflow systems arent tuned to the car like Neil g60 says. ill never ever use powerflow again after my experiences,but i suppose it all depends on the fitter,oh they dont use 304 grade stainless either,after 2 years of hell mine actually fell off the car in rusty pieces. 8) sorry,just thought id share my experience! neil.

ok guys,i went crazy on the spare t/b! do ya reckon ive fecked it? used red and black marker pen to show things up better,still need to finish off the inlet side by turning it into a venturi shape and polishing/porting a little more. i think? :lol: neil.

sorry to jump on topic here! mines got a mind of its own,works on the switch but... when it raises by its self,if i indicate either way it goes down :? if i turn the lights on,it goes crazy,moving up and down real fast. :? ive checked earths,removed stalks and cleaned,stripped h/light switch and cleaned but nothing. also took my module jobby out today to swap it for another,thing is they were both diffarent! a 1990 one had a big connector with 3 or 4 spade termainals at either side. and my 1992 one has a small central connecter with lots of little terminals. neil. :)

yep :roll: i rang them today,it took forever to get through,they rung me back and said they were expecting them as above,weds/thurs. they cant be blamed if fk are messing them about,but a phone call would put peoples minds at rest. neil.

Red=Fast,im gonna read your link but am i guessing right here? >> connect the isv to the plastic boost pipe going to> intercooler? or connect bottom of t/b to>plastic intercooler pipe? ill have a look anyway,winds me up not knowing things! :evil: :lol: i thought the pipe might be to run a catch tank,i have a spare mocal from the mk1,but couldnt easily see a way of mounting it,was nearly tempted to get the tie wraps out :lol: thanks,neil.
