why cant you run et25 without the spacers? should create less arch/tyre clearance. could you not get away with et25-35 if using coilovers? neil. :)

hi m8,i run 8x16's with et 35 fronts and et 33 rear. i have no problems,im at standard ride height for now,running 195/45's all round. et30 means they will run closer to the arches rather than the inner wings. hope this helps. neil. :)

what about a box from a passat gt,2.0 16v??? how would this box feel on a g60? neil. :)

be carefull putting power to a starter motor thats not bolted up m8 :) does sound like its gone,does the car bump start at the moment? neil.

i dunno to be honest m8. how much would the weight come in to it? i know carl at only vw used to move valver lumps with another pair of hands,but used a forklift for the vr lumps :!: mk2 2.0 16v's VS 2.9 vr6 mk2(in front) ,not corrado's but good vid anyway 8) if you listen you can hear the vr,sounds like a jet :lol: neil.

would you be going for 16's m8? im guessing so :thumbleft: i run 195/45's on 8x16's,bit more stretch than id like really... i reckon 205/45's would be better,depends on your ride height though. as for the rims 8) deep dish are the nads.

the cable adjustment? or the circlips missing? it was missing on mine,i couldnt get gears easily especially 1st,2nd,3rd... put a clip on and its like a diffarent car! neil.

corrado's have cables rather than a linkage,of which i know nothing about to be honest! its worth just lifting up the gear surround though,to check if you have a circlip missing off the horizontal shaft. neil.

dosnt look too bad to me,or is it diffarent in the flesh? can still see the honing/hatching 8) piston top looks pretty well carbonned up but its not so bad. just clean it up with petrol and a scraper/scotch pad. :D neil. 4 of the B/E bolts are 3mm longer than the rest. May as well take the opportunity to "weight match" the rods while they're out.. :D I don't want to do much to the bottom end at the moment - in the Autumn, the crankcase is getting re-borred, new pistons & new crank. :shock: wow! @ difference between rod bolts! and 8) wow at the work to come. good stuff m8. neil. edited:forgive me im not plugged in at the mo...

so its bolted to the right hand corner of cam cover? sounds like the earth for the coil/ecu loom :? unless its been earthed else where. neil. :)

does sound like a bad earth if its dim...? check the little pip on the brake reservoir cap isnt stuck or sticky,press it a few times,it should pop back up if your fluid levels ok. as for the earths,not sure where? rocker cover etc? neil. :)
