Any thoughts?

I'm having log in troubles. When i log in at the top, it goes to the redirect page, but then the log in form is still there at the top. If i then click any section though, I then appear to be logged in. But also when i come back to the forum, i haven't stayed logged in. Apologies if this has already been mentioned, just popped on quickly. I'm using google chrome btw. Neil.

Plastic lens restoration kits are now available again. Neil.

Best bet is to remove that screw and replace it with a stainless one, but if one of the tabs has snapped it may be best to find a new casing. I think they are still available actually. :) Neil.

Cheers lads... Chris, I have posted an add on the OC 8) I know it will be hard to find a big bumper monza (Like you say, never made them) but they just look so damn good on them! 8) Plenty low mileage/original ones about at the moment, but I want something lightly tweaked really. And something reliable so i can take the damn corrado off the road again

Hello all, I'm after a late big bumper MK2 valver, something that's VERY tidy and straight, but also slightly tweaked in a nice way. Nothing too over the top. Must be either Red, Monza Blue, Bright blue metallic or pearl grey. May consider other colours but definitely not black, silver or royal blue. Something like the below would do me fine, set of wheels, shocks and springs/coilovers. Must have p-steering/leccy windows etc. I'm located in Burnley/Lancs...and will travel a little for the right car. Please post pics/as many details as possible of what you have. Or catch me on Volksdevil, username = Volksdevil. Thanks, Neil.

Boo! Well i still own this thing, never really got around to advertising it properly. A guy in a van caught the front bumper...scuffed the corner of it. :censored: Some recentish pics... And then up to date... On the sebrings now, changed them all over in the damn snow. It's currently losing 1L of water every two days, not sure where from, possibly water pump AGAIN. Already replaced it twice. :censored: :ignore: Can't really be bothered sorting it at the minute, so if it overheats then so be it. More important things on my mind. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs1211.snc4/156375_10150346845235570_533370569_15950836_6399372_n.jpg Neil.

Anyone fancy some M3 racing? No M3 actually needed as it's in the standard garage. All in the same standard cars for some good, close racing :D Add me Volksdevil-G60 then click Community > My profile > My lounge Oh, and make sure you select the Racing soft tyres! Will be in there for the next hour or so unless the TV gets comandeered.

That's how they are supposed to work is it not? :confused4: I'm pretty sure that with the sidelights on, there should be a small voltage to the headlight bulb too. :confused4: It should be fine as long as the full 12v/55w isn't lighting the headlight bulb until dipped beam is turned on. Neil.
-
I'm glad to hear that as it's something i've always sided with. I could never see why a self lubricating seal (Apex strips) would need to depend on random heavy breathing from the crankcase. It's just not something that the engineers would implement and depend upon. The charger only needs an oil feed to the bearings, sod filling it with random oil mist and silly ptfe spray!

Here you go mate...http://www.volksdevil.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=250 And yep, you should have excess boost coming from the bottom of the throttle body, it will be quiet as you have left the plastic pipe on there. The idea behind removing the return is that it stops already circulated boost entering back into the charger. Obviously it's 'warmed' as it's been forced through the charger etc and warm isn't what we want for power. The difference is extremely minimal in all honesty, it's just one of those things to do with other tweaks really. Neil.

Good stuff. I've just finished up work ready for tommorow, so i'm about to crack open the budweiser and go online racing again!

Just been having a go! Only got the civic as yet. The online is awesome! I ended up on a track with some mosler type cars, and a lancer...me and the lancer were having a good battle...and then a bloody camper van went hammering past! lol! Only problem was that i couldn't exit the race? Had to turn the ps3 off I had 'start race' and exit to choose from and neither seemed to do owt?

1992 post august G60 with 1H engine..cat or no cat for mot??
Riley replied to Neokitz's topic in General Car Chat
Yep, that's what i've heard/read myself. That the emissions test should be done according to the engine fitted to the car, It sounds right to me, but would be good for someone to confirm. 8) Neil. -

My late/August G60 has passed no problem for the past 5/6 years without a cat 8) The g60's actually run very low emissions at idle if set up correctly. Neil. -
