Aye i'll keep my eye on prices...Unsure what to do at the moment. And to be honest, the advert would be pretty big to cover everything so maybe i can't be arsed writing it out

I cancelled the claim regards the bumper because the guy who damaged it went and lied to his insurance company. :censored: Even though he admitted liability to myself, and said he was going through insurance simply because he had protected no claims. I assumed he would hold his hand up and say "Hey it was my fault, but it won't affect my premium anyway right" No problem anyway, because i want to make sure it's done right whether i sell the car or not, and what goes around...always comes around. Interesting thoughts about comparing the corrado's to the mk2 golf, as they really have got to that stage now of being decent money for tidy examples, while being a heck of a lot harder to come by as well. I really am in two minds about selling, especially having spent, wasted, sunk so much money into it (Over 10k! with receipts) and yet it's just an old modified volkswagen at the end of the day. Neil.

So im pondering selling the G60, going to see a possible new car next week. But i was wondering, with the way so many Corrado's get broken for parts (Lots!) and the way that Vw seem to not want to help keep them going, how do people think long term values will be affected? Im wondering if i should try and hang onto mine, im not really sure why but i've had it for around 6 yrs, so maybe in another 6yrs it will be worth a little more and i may want to keep it anyway regardless of value? Just a passing thought... Neil.

Aye it's citylink that's been used, should be ok hopefully!

Damn...Sorry to hear about the messing James. Lets just hope those wheels turn up for me eh! Thanks for the texts/messages by the way, much appreciated. Neil.

Thanks for the kind comments and the input mate. It is all the little details that make it a bit different and i think...i enjoyed doing them all, like the gear change lights you mention, amongst the other silly bits. I've taken the step of buying some sebring wheels for it, im gonna sell it without the borbets, just because they no longer make them and it took me two weeks to paint the centers black after buying them brand new. Not really sure what to ask for it.

What's the market like at the moment for a modified G60? Decent time to sell?

It's from an air con model. Not brilliant tbh. Neil.

Gauge whore...I like it lol. Still have a vdo boost temp sat waiting to be fitted  It's cool being able to see it go from vac > boost, looks all pretty  Used to have just the one that measure both...

I made it myself for a few quid...http://forum.volksdevil.com/index.php?showtopic=78&view=findpost&p=10883346 Neil.

Here's mine. Although i haven't got a pic of the afr/wideband gauge yet which is mounted in a single pillar pod near the dash/windscreen. Also lights up digitally red. Oh, I've got a vdo boost temp gauge to fit yet too. Lol.

Thanks lads...Too kind. :) Looks like it may well be going though...

Haha, so there is...From 2005!!! It's had a few different looks while i've had it.

Hadn't taken any pics for a while (Unlike me) but i do like these i took the other day.

Cheers mate...I've never been a believer in that myself. Do what you want to do mate, My fave wheel of all time is a 9x16 borbet a with a black center...I could have gone for bbs etc...but i went for what i always wanted and i wouldn't have it any other way. It may not get 'scene' credit like others do, but it looks exactly how i want it to :salute: And how many corrado's will you see on the road that look similar? :salute: Im actually in two minds about selling it after having a think about all the time, money, effort i've put into it over the past 5-6 years.

Fitted two new VAG relay rollers that the charger belt runs on. Whoopy do. One of the old ones had a crack in it, probably from a stone or sommet and the bearings were a bit tired. Number 34's in the pic for any other G60 owners. New VS old.
-
Well...Possibly the last pics i'll ever take of the Corrado.

Do what you want to do mate...

Well...Back from PipeWerx who i highly recommend. They made me a new stainless decat up from scratch for £120 to replace the one that was blowing. Can't believe the difference in sound and power with it not blowing anymore! Even the AFR gauge is reading richer and more steadily! Good times...For the new owner lol. Coullstar, believe it or not i never got done once for the mesh plate, even with cops walking around the car checking it out  Neil.

Fitted amber/yellow sidelight bulbs... Also renewed the front brake lines on both sides (Copper) running from the flexi's to the abs unit. Fitted a new drivers rear caliper as i knew it was sticking a little, then it went through mot. It's now for sale too. £5k. There's a 'little' paperwork/history with it... Neil.
