  1. I've always heard that about the early/late bonnet not matching up with the opposing wings...But a lad off here came to the Volksdevil meet the other week (Early car/early wings) with a late bonnet, and the gap was perfectly equal and linear as far as matching up to the wings
  2. The later wings are wider with a more rounded shape. :) Neil.

    No Boost :(

What makes you think there isn't any boost? A gauge reading or a lack of power? There has to be a leak somewhere whether it be from charger to throttle body, or throttle body through the cylinder head (Doubtfull) if the charger is fine/compressing air. Have you checked the physical working order of the charger/associated belts?

    No Boost :(

If the charger is fine, then it can only really be the pipework/intercooler that leaking. Do you have the original black outlet on the supercharger? Neil.
  5. Meh...I've been running the full blend charger for years without the boost return, and without lube. Still gives 14/15 psi all day long. The lube was the worst thing i ever used to be honest, it clogged all up the expensive porting in the charger over time rendering it pointless. Said it before but im sure Vw didn't build the engine to breathe heavily/randomly to lubricate the charger scroll, the apex strips are self lubricating. I'd say it was more to do with not dumping dirty fumes into the atmosphere. This is how to remove the boost return, It's up to you whether or not you do so of course... Neil.
  6. Hi Dave, we despatch on Saturdays up until dinner time :D You could potentially have it for Monday, but obviously we can't guarentee it. We do our best in getting things out as quickly and efficiently as possible. But more than likely Tuesday in this case as you say. Enjoy the product anyway Dave. Ps: We now have platic lens polishing/restoration kits in stock lads, maybe not a biggie for the Corrado but you may have another motor with plastic lenses that are cloudy etc. Neil.
  7. Hi Dave, Did you use the shipping option "Next day Mon-Thur 4pm ONLY"? as obviously we can't despatch on a Saturday for Sunday delivery, the next day option as it's name suggests is only guarenteed when used Mon-Thursday 4pm ONLY. Just thought i'd pop on and give you a heads up as i received an email about this topic. Neil.

    Headlights

Are my ears burning?  Lamin-X.co.uk - Suprised you came across the yellow headlights site Tartan! Neil.
  9. Im claiming for a new splitter, i'm sick of the damage they are causing...It's a road I have to use 8-10 times a day, as i can no longer use the main road because they are even worse on there! :mad2: I have pics of the splitter damage, which is happening every day unless i drive in the middle of the road like it seems the council want me to. Further down the road there are 'humps' instead of 'bumps' and they are much easier on the car. Everyone else just drives over them, not slowing them down at all! Bloody rediculous design that needs a rethink!
  10. One of many being sent to the council regards the new speed bumps :mad2:
  11. The parts that Vw are dropping for the Corrado is just rediculous. :mad2:
  12. Hi Lion, A single piece at 12"x16" will protect both headlights, as for the fogs/turns, please see http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/shop.htm for details on sizing. Neil.
  13. I'm pretty sure the wishbones aren't 'sided' ? Neil.
  14. It does indeed. More of the, lets say 'Boy racer types' are slightly disappointed when they realise that the light output isn't actually blue  When used in the correct context, especially with good quality bulbs (Which we also supply btw) the results are great. Neil.
  15. I've just been on the back roads, and hit a large dip in the road. Looking under the car, first thing i noticed was that where the main wishbone bolt goes through, the surrounding metal of the subframe (bottom which hit floor) around where the bolt goes through is battered/bent. Wishbone dosn't have any marks at all. Also noticed that the gearbox bellhousing has a large flat on the bottom, so im lucky i didn't catch the sump. Will anything be misaligned regards the bent subframe? The damage is localised to the bottom/surrounding metal. Neil.
  16. Hi mate, can't help with the gearbox thing sorry....But have I seen you around Padiham? (Black g60 myself) Neil.
  17. Yep. We have kept this discount code live for the Corrado forum despite our new website.:thumbleft: Some links of interest... Find us on Facebook Company Car (Corrado) on Facebook Corrado website page Find us on Twitter And some sizes of interest... A single 12"x16" will protect both Corrado headlight faces once cut in half. Neil. EDIT: NEW DISCOUNT CODE NOTE. We have reconfigured our links page to point towards this topic instead of the old one which no longer works. We have had to set up a new discount code, which is now reduced as we have revised our discount scheme to fall inline with other increases. Please PM me for the discount code.
  18. Hi all, Our new wesbite is up and running, it should be more speedy and much easier to navigate over the old one. It features an all new shopping cart, live order status checking, image uploading, discount links page for forums/clubs and more! We hope you like it as much as we do, we have had great feedback so far so we thank you for that and apologies if the changeover caused you any problems, we got there in the end! Lamin-X.co.uk - Motorsport Light Protection Neil.
  19. Hello mate, Do you have an electrical tester? If you have one that lights up... Find an earth (Should be obvious, and connect one side of the resistor to it. Then pop your indicator on, and prod each wire till you find the one that makes the tester flash each time the indicator does. That's what you connect the remaining side of the resistor to. If you have a volt meter, it's the same as above but just replace the 'flashing' with 'alternating voltage' between 0v and 12ish volts. Neil.
  20. Had my heart set on a tornado red mk4...But been looking for months now, and each one i've seen hasn't been as described, and they all seem to have problems.
  21. Just got back from viewing a second R32. 8 hour journey, £150 quid in diesel, £15 quid hpi check all for nothing. :bad-words: Looks like the rado is lingering for a bit longer...
  22. Aye, I noticed yours was advertised Abdul...It always seemed to be a cracker of a Corrado to me, so hopefully you will get a decent price for it mate. I've just had a look through the classifieds and it does seem that value's are quite low at the moment :pale: I think the cars are definately worth more, but they just aren't selling. In fact it looks like it's the whole secondhand car market thinking about it now. I've been looking for a mk4 golf r32 for a while, and there have been plenty that have had 1, 2, 3 price drops! The one im going to see this week has just had £2K slashed off the price and it's a 29k miles example! Mmmmm. Maybe the Corrado should sit in the garage for a while.
  23. Well...The wheels just arrived all well and good. :salute: 8) Neil.
