Confusing stuff this gear ratio thing eh  Id probably look towards the vr6 gearing i think? More useable spread over the ctn? Neil.
-
Hi mate :) Maybe this will help? I can confirm that he is a well trusted guy off club gti. :) Neil.
-
Good work mate, love the red ones 8) Neil.

Read this on e36coupe.com the other day...Horrific and very sad :(
-
Cheers mate :D It feels like its taking forever! And aye...Not spraying the fins was just to aire on the side of caution really...probably wouldn't have much effect in all honesty, especially just a light wafting over. Just got home to these... Pair of new SPAL 9" slimline fans. 8) One is going to suck from the engine bay side, and the other will blow from in front of the radiator. I tried remounting the original fan/cowling in different places to clear the new boost pipe in above pic but there was no way to sort it so these will do the trick. Neil.

Aye, could be filter especially if not been changed for a while. Forgot to add...Mine was leaking to the left of above pic (in the chassis) and there was a fair old patch of optimax  And whatever you do, don't just pull the old pipe off...Its a nighmare to get the new one on if you do. Cut the old pipe and tape the new pipe to it so you can pull it through the chassis, easy :D Hard work otherwise. Neil.

I had a leak on the feed pipe under the car, easy to replace and available from the stealers :) Black is feed/blue is return and the clear pipe is the fuel tank breather pipe. Neil.

Mine were 8x16 all round, polished with black details and solid porsche valves and caps. They wore near new toyo t1-s 195/45's and i sold em with 25mm adapters for £ 500 quid. Hope this helps,Neil. :)

Quickly wafted over the intercooler/brackets and legal number plate brackets with some black plastikote. I didn't go mad near the fins on the i/c obviously... Neil. :)
-
Not much else to report really apart from a little bit of pipework sorted. Ive chopped the original C/O pot pipe so i can retain the C/O pot strangely enough! And ive got a 90d reducer to come off the rsr outlet on the charger, i needed long leg lengths for where it points down but needed to chop the charger end. Neil. :)

Hi mate, How much was the knock sensor out of interest? Cheers,Neil. :)

Cheers mate, The bumper will be cut but with a slight twist which may go horribly, horribly wrong  or it may be a cool first. Local company did the welding through a good friend of mine, real happy with it :D More progress pics soon! :D Neil.
-
Keep an eye on one of the recent members gallery threads  The guy will be mentioning certain do's and don'ts with detailed pics... [cough] Neil. [/cough]

Aye...The property game can be slow at times, im just fitting in what i can between looking at properties and trekking up to the unit most nights for an hour or two. :D Original intercooler is going bye bye's...Just that the outlet now runs straight through the space next to the rad and with a bit of pipework (yet to sort) onto the alloy c/o pot pipe i was going for. Not bothering with it now though i don't think, going to get it up and running with the original plastic one chopped down. Modification 2 and 3 are also in progress :D Neil.
-
 Well here's progress on 1 of my 3 modifications. :D 'Cossie' intercooler. Its a nice deep intercooler, and should be good to see how it performs as far as 'pressurisation' compared to the usual rallye/sprinter type intercoolers...Plus its black  Just the outlet and positioning on the car thats a slight issue... Old outlet chopped off and cleaned up. I made a plate to cover old outlet and had it all welded up. Made some brackets up and test fitted, it mounts through handy holes in slam panel. I cut a section of the front panel bracing away!
-
Its just getting going thats a sod...mine was really tight! Start at the bottom of the bumper wedging thin flat bladed screw drivers in and keep pulling it while moving along. :) Neil.
-
Looks tidy mate 8) Neil.
-
Removed that BLOODY! plastic grill from the bottom of the bumper, and did some sanding while wondering what the hell im doing
-
Yeah, would be hard to cater for all. :( Ive heard that gwerks sell them? So is anyone using one and got pics?! :D
-
I roughly positioned two solenoids in the engine bay and wondered what tap i will need for an injector...also wondered where the injector will go. Mmmmm.
-
C'mon ya lazy gits!

A few things mate :D I hate being secrative really...but i just don't want to say too much incase it goes wrong Its a silly idea i had that may end up being crap that im most bothered about, its only a small thing compared to the other two things... :? Its hard work this secrative rubbish
-
Hey none taken mate :) Its cool though, im definately keeping it now...Its off the road because im selling my house/moved back to dads and it won't go over the new speed bumps :( Plus my few small plans to tackle...and im going to just stay relaxed about the problem with it...no panic, its been there for near on 3 years anyway   ps:More very good progress made :D Neil.
-
There has been good progress on my little tweaks :) Just the one pic for now though...
-
Aye...seen that mate 8) But id like to go for the ally pipe really :D Any pics/details anyone? Neil.
