We now have a Mobile Site up and running although it's still in it's infancy! Simply visit http://www.Lamin-X.co.uk on your Mobile Device. The Corrado page isn't on there as yet, not sure it will be but I'll see what I can do. Neil.:smug:

Haha! It's been caged up!

The standard cd head unit in the Lex is common for not playing cd's! Mine's gone so I bought one of these, plugs into the back of the head unit, and when you press cd button, it now plays everything from the iphone! :-) Corrado looking sorry for itself... :-(
-
Cheers guys, It's good to hear positive comments about keeping it because in all honesty I'm feeling more and more like it's pointless having it sat there :-( Especially as I'm on with renovating the house, literally have no bathroom, no kitchen, no nothing...Building site! :-( May as well pop latest updates up about the Lexus. Been struggling to feel at home in it until lately, but I now officially 'Like' it lol ;-) The kids have inspected it. They approve. Have started a paint correction on it, only got stage 1 done so far but gonna struggle for time to complete it. Just gonna keep it well washed until I can get back into it. Will come up quite well. Spot the Corrado lol. Now sat in my unit :-( ---------- Post added at 12:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:15 AM ---------- Stickers in the side/rear windows and the rear window.

I personally like the Amber, gives that oldskool look. Looks a tidy motor either way mate. And it can also make them look 'high gloss' and shiny too as a bonus. :thumbleft: Samples available at: http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/samples.htm

Hi, unfortunately the product isn't suitable for this application. Neil.

That's great to hear! I only wish we could get more feedback but it's a case of people love giving bad feedback when the chance arises. Thankfully we've never given the chance though lol, so no feedback is good feedback I suppose. PS: Microfibre Cloths now available with your Lamin-X purchase. Perfect for use during preparation.

Riley replied to KIPVW's topic in General Car Chat
Oh no... :-( Shocked and lost for words. Only ever spoken to Chris on the forum and he was as sound as they come. Thoughts with his family and friends. Rest in peace mate. A sad loss. Neil. -
Thanks mate, I'll check out the link, sounds good but does the sat nav app bit work well enough? Other suggestions welcome too. Neil.

Hi all, Looking for a new head unit for the IS200:o and I'm a little out of touch in all honesty. Ideally I'd like something with built in Digital TV but I can only find one Clarion model thus far? Definite features I'd like would be: Navigation. Bluetooth streaming/Iphone capability. Rear view camera capability. As many pre outs as possible at at least 4volt? So far I've found two units I like the look of but can't make a serious decision on either. Firstly: Anybody familiar with this Kenwood DNX 9210BT head unit? http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk/products/car/navigation/all_in_one/DNX9210BT/details/ I can't find any video's of it or anything. Secondly: JVC KW-NT800HDT. I REALLY like the look of this, but I can't find a UK variation? :-( Any thoughts? Any recommendations on the above two or anything else? Cheers, Neil.

Cheers mate. I've only ever liked them purely on the way they look, but having now got up close and driven, they are a superb motor! Absolutely love it! Today consisted of an 'enhancement' as Manny would say lol. Yellow Lamin-X Fogs done. Haven't touched the paintwork yet but I'm going to give it a full correction at some stage (It REALLY needs it) I minted the interior today and treated the leather too. All the little pockets and switches etc everywhere are great too. Gearing is very close so makes it a fun drive. Very very smooth and quiet, but yet when you put your foot down the straight six purrs nicely. Slow as sh|t like but it's not about that for me anymore. Gave it a boot full sideways earlier, felt good, easily held and controlled with a good steering feel (Speed sensitive power steering) Anyway, I don't want to turn this into a lexus forum so I'll leave this thread alone now unless something happens with the Corrado (Sold/Sorned) whatever it may be :-(

Thanks for the kind words lads...But I have gone to the dark side! Six speed 2L straight six, 2002 Lexus IS200 Sport with factory Aero bodykit. Being a sport it has an LSD, Factory tinted rear windows, Fancy trim, Drilled aluminium pedals, s-steel sill plates, boot spoiler, lower suspension and because it has the aero kit it has 18"!!!! Rims. Video of me driving the Corrado home and my Dad going past in the Lex. Pics. Got home and went straight back out to the jet wash with some autoglym engine and machine cleaner. Before and after. Loving it so far! As for the Corrado...Dunno :-(

Will be heading M65, M66, M62 today to look at a possible new motor. Keep an eye out for me in the Corrado looking lost around Brighouse! lol. Neil.
-
Today I'm driving it lol, hitting the M65, M66, M62 towards Brighouse to look at a new potential motor. I'd probably try and bend that up with a bit of wood or something softish, then quick nibbing over with some wet and dry and mask underneath, waft some paint over. If it still doesn't catch, not sure, maybe a spot of weld on that front bit where it's split? then grind it down, paint etc. Or if you want to go further, maybe a square plate over the top with a new hole? Neil.

OK Lads, new Corrado forum specific purchase page has literally just been finished and put up after testing.:thumbleft: But this is indeed just a test for now, I'd love to hear any feedback on this process for making orders as it could well stay. Is the process informative enough? Easy enough? etc. Basically if you Click here you can see the page, once there you will need a password (PM me for that, some will already know it) and then you can access products and the discount code (Same as the password) As far as pre cut product, I'm afraid there just isn't the demand for it, we mainly supply to race team graphics dept's through contracts and they literally throw product on. Also, anything pre cut doesn't allow for proper edge protection/custom fitting and in most cases proves much harder to fit with less room for error. EDIT: It would be much easier again if this part of the forum was hidden to guest users, I could then simply post up the password/discount code. Oh and Michael, sorry about that. If you PM me before placing an order I'll try and help. Neil.
-
Apologies if anybody has failed to use the forums discount code today, there was an error which has now been fixed. Oh and a video of our new Amber (If it works) and I take full responsibility for the music lol. :smug: In other news, as there have been quite a few Corrado owners showing interest of late I've managed to have a dedicated Corrado forum purchase page added to the site, it's not quite ready yet but when finished will make purchasing very straight forward, it will also let you log in to the site to see the discount code. Neil.

Ive only ever had the 2.4% as yet, I smoke Regal king size:thumbleft: Oh, the starter kit is £15 quid off at the moment too! And maybe you can use the vapes10 discount code on top as well? http://www.vapestick.co.uk/vapestick-classic-e-cig.html Quick review is that the 'Hit' is brill, the flavours are brill and it does work out much cheaper than smoking so far (For me anyway). The lack of smelling of fags, and most of all the health benefits are the best. One thing I'm not keen on, is that when the cartomisers run out they tend to get a funny taste...But at least you know it's time for a fresh one. Yet to see how long the battery's last as after all they will only recharge so many times... Neil.
-
:thumbleft: I haven't come across anyone who hasn't seen a positive effect as yet if that's anything to go by mate:thumbleft: I myself have always smoked 10-15 a day, but when I started using this I instantly dropped to two a day. I just can't stop the 'Brew and a fag' in the mornings and 'Last smoke before bed' routines yet lol. I know a couple of lads who have stopped the cigs all together after trying these too. Neil.
-
EDIT: Just found a discount code too for anyone shopping with them > vapes10 The new cartomisers from vapestick are awesome! Like they should have been from the start tbh. http://www.vapestick.co.uk/vapestick-cartomiser-refills.html [video=youtube_share;2wvQhWgu_vM]http://youtu.be/2wvQhWgu_vM?t=1m36s

Glad you are happy with the product Michael :thumbleft: Happy to be of service. A video of our new Amber (If it works) and I take full responsibility for the music lol.:smug: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=460133034057965&set=vb.274957172705&ty pe=3&theater Neil.

How old are you, and how long have you had your Corrado/Corrado's?
Riley replied to Overmind's topic in General Car Chat
33 yrs young, had current G60 for 8 years and done the Vw thing since 96. Tired of it now though, time to hang up the ol' Vw keys and have a change I think. Currently looking for a new motor, ideally with 4 doors and without digipants. Neil. -
Cheers Sean, all's well. Neil.

Cheers mate... Had some issues with the Innovate wideband giving dodgy readings so thought I'd try a new lambda probe. It basically uses a wideband probe from a TT/1.8T, you can see the part numbers in pics as I went for a genuine bosch/Vw/Audi one. Problem solved, although I'm still not happy with the Innovate kit... Also I had a rattling from underneath which was the rear zaust heat shield, it had worn through on the clips, so I bought some new clips/replaced them all, and also started making up some formed alloy washers to pop on there first. Rattling has gone and it's all nice and tight now. Oh, and I've decided that I'm gonna take it off the road, potentially sell it or let it sit for a while. I've just lost the love for cars lately and need something sensible for the kids etc. Not sure what to do with it yet, seems pointless having it sat there doing nothing...
