1. Great thread, and great work all round.:thumbleft: That suitcase silencer removal doesn't half create some room underneath eh! I think we need video's/sound clips! What size ID or OD is that exhaust clamp? been meaning to pick one up for a while but not sure on the size I need. Neil.
2. Sounds like a nice setup, good luck with the potential dick head/DTA lol :thumbleft:
3. Nice, I was actually looking for a red one when I first got a Corrado. Is it an early or late one? Just wondering with it having a late bonnet, early bumper/fogs/indicators/grill/headlights. Note to self. Must stop this weird obsession with early/late G60's.:bonk:
4. Matt clumpy? I'm sure he could still help with anything, he's an ex Vw techy and a good lad.:thumbleft: Bit of a drive from yourself, but sometimes it's worth it to have someone you can trust work on your pride and joy.
5. You could also give Matt a shout at http://www.onlychargeddubs.co.uk/ https://www.facebook.com/onlychargeddubs Neil.
6. With that setup, you may lose presets etc once the ignition is off/key removed. Best to just test it, and if you do lose presets then the red and yellow will want swapping around.:thumbleft: More than likely needs doing anyway.
7. Yep, Vw were a little confused about the ISO wiring/standard it seems! Good stuff anyway. I couldn't quite make out the Blue/White wiring, I'm sure I'm seeing three of em lol. If all's working though then happy days.
8. Yep, looks spot on apart from, have you got the Blue/White from the car wired to the stereo? That's the spoiler speed control wire and shouldn't be connected (Can cause issues with the spoiler working) Edit: Don't mistake it for Blue/Grey, that's fine to use as it's dash illumination.
9. Can't see a picture? But yep, in the Corrado the red/yellow actually run the opposite way around iirc.
10. Hi mate, It's a long time since we did the rear lights so best to measure up as in below reply...The Corrado lights aren't the easiest to do, so removing them from the car with the help of heat/an oven at 80-100c is best. Hi mate, I think...It was a single 12"x8" (Just £9.99) that was used to protect both front indicators. It's worth double checking and details on measuring up for fitment can be seen here. Hope that helps. Neil.
11. Could potentially be a massive help! I no longer have a local GSF (Which was run by the best guys you could wish for), and now the Vw dealer has closed down as well! Nowhere to get parts anymore. I used to be in both places all the time with parts lists printed off from etka.
12. Cheers Neil, still lots to do as always lol.
13. Welcome mate. Is it an early or late Corrado?
14. Few more pics (Too many as usual!) that I forgot to grab off the camera. I always take a few similar but can never seem to get 'The perfect angle'
15. Sneaky pics taken on the last delivery run at work today.
16. Colour code Sam? The final colour was decided on after looking at variations in colour from 70's-90's cars. We ended up with a superb final product and the high gloss finish makes them look very crisp!:thumbleft: Details can be seen at: http://www.Lamin-X.co.uk/gallery/amber_orange.htm I wasn't planning on keeping the 'test' set of indicators, but they look that good that I've claimed them lol.

removing brake glaze

Hmmm, just wondering if you could get a strip of Emory paper in through the caliper to run it side to side against the pad? You'd struggle to get a good/even enough coverage of the pad. Edit: Maybe you could run some emory against the disc (Rough side facing the pad obviously) and turn it by hand while holding it. Would be better popping the pads out really.
18. Let me know when you require the discount code:thumbleft: Glad you are happy with the product mate:thumbleft: The motorsport pedigree helps! This pic helps to show the finish you can achieve, these were done quickly by applying at one end, smoothing along leaving the sides hanging. And then popping in an oven at 80-120c for a couple of minutes on a cold baking tray, then the sides pulled over. Repeat as necessary and then trim around the edge once cool.

Potholes

Absolute joke... You should get something from the council regards that I'd think, especially as you have pics/measured. That's exactly what you should do when this sort of thing happens. PS: I've used this site before and had near immediate fixes to pot holes etc. http://www.fixmystreet.com/ Good luck getting it sorted mate. Neil. EDIT: Just to add, and knowing what the council can be like. I'd get more pics and hold the current paper/date in them too. :thumbleft:
20. Headlight switch received, mint, well packed and very timely. Thanks mate. Neil.
21. Sorry Manny, only just been able to get the site updated and everything else in place.
22. ^^ Yep. Interior fan runs if you pull the stalk. This issue sounds slightly different though?
23. We now supply our Amber light protection film via the webiste. Gallery here and shop here
24. Well there's no such thing as Amber Corrado Indicators (Late style anyway) only early style/U.S spec but... :D
