  1. Corrado G60, gloss black, 1992 This has been a bit of a project for me over the last 10 years. All tuning related work carried out by G-Werks, Stealth and JMR. Current mileage, 172k. Taxed and MOT?d until Nov 2015. Currently in storage since May 2014. No pictures of the car in it's current state as it's in storage, but can get them if need be. Panjo wont let me place the full spec of the build so it's at the end of my build thread. Let's just say it's extensive (headline numbers, >250bhp reliably as a daily runner, gearbox with Peloquin, Porsche brakes, Racelogic traction and launch control, KW Variant 1's, custom interior, loads of spares etc etc). Build details: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=20906 Not sure why there is a 'buy it now' option, this is not available for payment through PayPal. JMC's G60

Just pulling together a spec sheet for my G60 as it's time to put her up for sale :(. Advert will be up in the next few days. Been amazing fun and I am very very much going to miss her (I know I'm going to regret selling), but now it's time to let someone else take the reigns...

    Late Black G60

Know the feeling Riley - I got mine in 2004. I'm in the same boat as you (feeling a littel meh), and I think I'll be looking to sell mine this year and give someone else a slice of the rollercoaster world of g60 ownership...

    JMC's G60

Well, after spending all my hard earned on a new carbon roof and interior earlier this year, along with a load of other things (including new windscreen, replaced a pillars, uprated fuel delivery system, repaired sills, new bumper etc), I have a horrible feeling I'll be putting my G60 up for sale in the new year. Nver thought I'd do it, but it's not getting as much use as it should. It's time to let someone new enjoy the fun. Anyone looking for a well sorted G60?....
  5. I have a Canon Eos 30D camera (boxed, with manuals, leads, battery charger, couple of spare batteries, etc), along with an EFS 18-55mm lens, and a Sigma wide angle 10-20mm EX lens all for sale. All of these are light amateur use, and can provide pics as needed. £150 delivered for the 30D and 18-55mm lens. £240 delivered for the 10-20mm EX lens. Or £380 delivered for all 3 items. Based near J13 of the M25 and will do a deal for collection.
  6. Sorry mate, can't help, but will be keeping an eye on this thread, as I have the same issue.
  7. I have a pair of G60 drive shafts. In good condition, removed from my G60 as I had rebuilt a second set with new CV joints. Can do them for £50 plus shipping.

    Power Hungry

Couple of things regarding the boost return. If you take it off you need an oil catch tank, as the oil breather from the rocker feeds back into it. You also need to lubricate your charger regularly, as you no longer have a small amount of oil vapour going through it. With it off there is an annoying whistle part throttle which sounds like you have a canarie trapped just beyond the firewall as the air just rushes out the bottom of the throttle body. You'd be better off getting a decent large front mount intercooler to keep the inlet charge cool (I have a golf G60 one, but people use other aftermarket ones as well). A moderately tuned G60 really does not need the extra air from twin intakes - the standard airbox and paper filter can flow a huge amount. I've run it with the boost return off, and the benefits did not out weight the issues for me. Where are you based - there are a few high power g60s around and it might be worth going to see one near you for some ideas.

Do you want 200bhp at the wheels or at the flywheel? 200 at the wheels is not easy, 200 at the flywheel is realtively doable. I wouldn't bother with a twin intake, absolutely no need for a moderately tuned G60 (and infact for reliability keep the boost return - I've tried with it on and with it on, and currently have it back on and will not take it off again). I run a standard (but drilled) airbox on mine and a standard paper filter, and am currently running slightly over 250bhp at the flywheel. To get 200 at the flywheel look at 68mm pulley, front mount intercooler, slightly bigger injectors, a cam upgrade and ideally a fast road head, and most importantly a chip to match your spec (not just an off the shelf one). That should be good for around 210 to 220 at the flywheel and be reliable. I can only echo the other comments about taking with JMR - he knows his G60's.
  10. 535 857 270 01C cover strip from front of dash - NEW in packaging I have a rubber seal strip (535 857 270 01C) which goes at the front of the dash for sale. This is new in the packaging, and was bought in error. Never been out of the packagin. Unfortunately as it was special order it was paid for up front and couldn't be returned. Looking for 20 (plus paypal fee) posted, as I wouldn't be surprised if this is now well and truly obsolete. JMC's G60

Corrados going to be kept for nice weather and occasional weekend use Goldie (really don't want to ahve to think about getting rid of it). Yeah, just looking into the enthusiast side of things with it now, and there are definitely some die hard Land Rover fans out there.

    JMC's G60

New car has arrived, and it makes up slightly for not running the Corrado on a daily basis. About as different to it as you can get to it but still good fun in its own way.

    JMC's G60

Sad day today, put the Corrado into storage as I don't have room for it and the new car turning up tomorrow. Had it for 10 years as my only car, so miss it already :(. Still it's stored only 5mins walk away from me so will be taking it out for a run once a month.
  14. Same with me Jim, I don't notice them when they're on there, and I struggle to see how the adhesive film can be as effective. Each to their own I suppose. Any ideas where I can get a new set Jim?
  15. Was cleaning my car today, and as usual took off the headlight protectors (bought from a group buy on here years ago) to give them a good clean. Found a big crack in one, which means it has done it's job and saved my headlight. What can I say - best investment I made, but are they still available anywhere...

    Headliner colours?

I used spray on mine and coloured it black. Also resprayed the sunvisors black. I used paint specially designed for recolouring plastic trim though (from one of the care restoring companies). Spraying the headlinings alright, but it will show marks if you scrape something along it. In the end I gave up, and had mine professionally recovered with dark grey Alcantara.
  17. Key thing with any G60 work is the map afterwards, and there aren't many places left for that. You can get to about 220bhp with the standard bottom end, after that you're looking at a rebore really. Mines just over 250bhp now, and reliable enough to be a daily. But I've had brakes, gearbox, suspension, exhaust etc all uprated too. If you're looking for an expert talk to John Mitchell racing.
  18. Just checked mine, and the writings on the drivers side only.
  19. To be honest it's so long ago that I can't remember what glue I used either - I think it was 3M body trim tape. I used heating elements purchase online from an eletronic company (Conrad electronics), and then stuck the whole thing on the mounting frame. I do have writing on one of mine, will double check tonight. Mine came direct from DDI in Canada.
  20. That is a long time, and very little mileage per year. Personally I'd be looking to atleast have that cracked open by and expert and looked at (as Jonny mentioned JMR, OCD or Jabba should be able to take a look at it depending on where you are). Or, I'd use it as a bargaining tool to get the price down as if it were me I'd be looking to get it rebuilt/serviced once I'd bought it.
  21. Same problem for me again today - listed 2 items (nitrous setup and an illuminated indicator talk that I made a few years back) - one has made it through to the forum and the other hasn't. This is very frustrating re. the adverts, as unless people go checking the classifieds they're not going to see this. Is there anything that can be done to rectify this please?
  22. Wizards of Nos high end setup - Brand new in box I have a full Wizards of Nos setup available. Bought for my G60 (after extensive discussion with Trev at WoN), but have not got round to fitting it. Contains 5lb Wizards of Nos bottle, bottle warmer, installation kit, Max Extreme Race edition progressive controller, fuel pressure transducer and nitrous pressure transducer, and single port injector, with the new X-10 solenoids. Easter special price - there's a good 1600 of kit here, and if it doesn't go over Easter it'll go back into storage until I do something with it. Collection from Egham - not really wanting to ship this and would prefer face to face sale. Payment by bank transfer or cash preferred, but can do paypal at buyers expense for fees. 23. There is a flexible tube beneath the throttle body which turns through 90 degrees and attached to a hard plastic tube that runs all the ways back to the charger. Then you'll also need the rubber tube that goes from the isv to the hard plastic tube that runs back to the charger.
