  1. I looked at this and I don't hink you could mount the jets on the underside of the bonnet as the spray would foul on the wipers. Perhaps you could figure out a way of using a peugeot style wiper spray that runs up the wiper arms?
  2. Angel Eyes and rear parking sensors I believe!
  3. Cure: - Less right foot (a lesson I am starting to learn!!!)
  4. I think I can beat that!!!! - 600 miles!!! Car went off the road for most of the year though! Insurance company will be happy as on a limited mileage policy!
  5. I have 8x17 Porsche Split Rims on mine and must say the handling on it is fantastic. however I am also running FK Silverline X Height and dampen adjustable coilovers, Goodyear Eagle F1 40 profile tyres and the aforementioned Brembo Big Brake conversion. But all in all the handling of the car is simply fantastic!!!
  6. Photos need to be .jpg's and not too big. Lights are always pretty poo on Corrados, you can help it by taking off the lenses and polishing the inside of the lenses, or if you can get hold of replacement ones (not sure if still available) they are about £20 each. On top of that get a GOOD headlight wiring loom upgrade. There are a few on here that sell them (about £50)and they make the world of difference. If the wipers are going at the same time as the blowers, i presume you mean if you switch the heater on the wipers work, then you have awiring fault somewhere I would have thought. As for the CV - what do you mean it needs sorting, does it need a new boot or a whole new CV Joint??? Boot is not a major job if you use a split one but you might as well get a decent garage (if you can't do it yourself?) and replace the whole unit, they are not massively expensive and not to major a job. I personally would like to say stick with it as I love G60's. But that really depends on the overall condition of the car and how much you enjoy the Corrado experiance as to whether it is worth it. They can be quite adrain on bank balances!!!
  7. where abouts in Birmingham are you as I live in the City Centre. Seems the C population round here is growing!

    Forged pistons

No............................................. But the piston rings you put on them do!
  11. Few pics now that the wheels have gone on. Still lots of Jobs to do this week, like get the sides of the bumper mounted. But here you go!
  12. I need some also for something else - I can't find it on that site Ian - Point me in the right direction please?
  13. Got it all sorted now - wasn't a short circuit - just a knackered Optima Battery
  14. And I've got some specially grooved disks and lightened pads if your interested? They took a long time to get like that!!!!!!!
  15. If gut feeling was to walk away - then you made the right decision!!!! That Gut Feeling is always a good one to trust!
  16. If it torque steers, you weren't holding on tight enough  Quality  Well I don't know what Kev's etc puts out Torque wise, but I'm now developing 247lb/ft of Torque and haven't YET fitted an ATB. I've not so far had any issues with that much power through a FWD car!
  17. I have ultimate respect for the man, I don't think there are many, if any better than him out there. However it is about time!
  18. I know 13.7 is ok but I can find a drop. But have now found it. It is the Battery to Body earth. I orginally thought there was something more serious afoot as the battery was red hot and hissing, inplying it was cooked. Well it was cooked but obviously if you keep trying to charge a dead battery it will do exactly that. So it seems all this worry over an electrical fault seems that it was simply a knackered battery. Looks like I'll be taking it back to where I got it from over a year ago as I believe Optima Red Tops are Guaranteed for a fairly lengthy period! Crisis Over it seems Thanks for all your helps though!
  19. Well according to the guy who did my alternator I should be getting at least 14. It also shows slightly different readings at different points. But when the Alt was bench tested it was showing 14, as soon as it went on the car it was showing 13.7 Also my Ultima Redtop has been cooked!!! After a long drive going to and from Chipwizards the battery was red hot and hissing!!!! Then in the mornig it was completely dead and wouldn't hold ANY charge I'm going to disconnect the stereo system in the boot and the power cap see if that is it. If not I need to start trying to Isolate circuits and narrow it down I think. Other than that I'm gonna have to pay silly money to call out an autoelectrician at silly money an hour to source and eliminate it. But I really cant afford that!!! The trouble is that with all the new electrics put in there now for all the guages and the aquamist it could be anything!!!
  20. Oh my god - How do I know which one (rating wise) goes where again! I suppose I 'd have to list them. But then the car won't run if I pull them all surely?? The drop shows on the alternator when its running!!
  21. As said above I seem to have a reasonable voltage drop in the car that I can't fathom! Can anyone that is good with electrics on these come and give me a hand for some sort of payment (not too expensive as this car is costing me dear at the moment!!!) I'm at a loss to finding it myself! With all the new systems installed etc I just haven't a clue where to start! Thanks Sam
  22. Bloody thing........ Gone to get in the car a few minutes ago and couldn't even unlock it using the alarm fob as the battery appears to be COMPLETELY dead. I've noticed this over the last week sometimes I would come to the car after not using it for a day and the battery would be dead enough not to be able to start it, but at least let me in the doors. Now it appears to have gone completely. I have an Ultima Red Top battery and a brand new 90Amp Alternator. I did notice yesterday that after the long drive to Manchester that the battery was particulalry hot, but then sort of forgot about it in all the excitement. Once I have got into it (it's delocked!!!!) how do I go about isolating it???
