IT'S ALIVE IT'S ALIVE Now I've taken it all apart again to fit all the lovely polished goodies and all the extra stuff I've been mounting up over the last year!!!!!!
-
You know what I mean!
-
don't like rolled arches really as they are too curved and look out of place amongst alot of straight lines.
-
Its not a bodykit, but not stock either. The arches have been rolled out! The mirrors are standard.
-
I know it's tight over the white lines Daz......But do you reckon we'll make it over the photographer as well?????
-
Well it's 4:30 in the morning! The car is home but............unfortunatly not under it's own steam, we were let down at last minute by the Alternator not giving out enough charge. It does drive - I did drive it but only until the battery lost power! So quick trip up to the alternator repair guy in the morning and she'll be back under way, didn't get the miles on it, but I can soon rectify that! I'll tell you all more tomorrow, but I only got 3 hours sleep last night and I'm shattered and going to bed!!!! Night night!
-
Well I'm all set. As soon as I finish work I'm setting off to Racepower to pick the car up!!!! Long drive carefully home. Then Fingers crossed it's MOT time 9am tomorrow morning!
-
I have to be quite careful as remember it is a 2031cc running a 179x map!
-
cool. How many miles do you have to run it in for then? 1500
-
I hope so - might be doing some work on it while I'm there though1!!! But it will be in running in mode!
-
Just had the phone call....................................... IT'S ALIVE I've heard it running - Sounds Awesome!!!!!! Jim commented that it's unbelievably lively!!!!!!! They are testing all the fueling etc to make sure it's ok to drive in running in mode this afternoon!!! Then it's just a case of them getting it back to me!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Well more news from Racepower! All the engine components are complete! All clearances and tolereances have been checked and are perfectly spot on! The car is now completely assembled and is once again a complete car!!!!!!!!!!! They then went to start it....................................................... The battery was flat!!!!!!!! So......... The big day is tomorrow guys!!! I'm nervously excited!!!!!!!

Do you have room to get in a Golf G60 FMIC?? would drastically shorten the pipework, but be a bit of a squeeze with a VR lump and also another chunk of expense! Only other thing is can you crank up the boost to compensate?
-
Can't help you on that one as I have a custom IC. However, wierdly I have a very long pipe path and MUCH bigger intercooler on mine now and noticed no loss between old intercooler and new setup. I'm about to re do the path of the pipework as soon as the car comes back losing about 3-4ft of pipe and hoping the gains in boos may be noticable! However with your charger where it is at one side and intercooler in the far wing you must also have a pretty long pipe path. Are you sure that is not where some of your loss is happening?

Use the search - I thikn this has been discussed alot recently

To resize pics the easiet way is to open the picture in Paint, the free package you get with windows under accessories in your start menu! Once the pic is opened, go to Image in the menu dropdowns. Got to Stretch/Skew and reduce the percentage in the top 2 boxes. MAKE SURE YOU ALTER THEM THE SAME AMOUNTS otherwise the pics will distort! Reduce the size in order to make them so they fit in the limit required by the forum!

Contact Oilman on here. He can tell you
-
depends on how they are modded!!! Countless variations if you move away from teh G-Lader - but then it's not a G60 Think Mike-g60 is about best so far on here using a G-Lader at about 248bhp if memory serves, however there has been a MK1 Golf G60 using a Eurospec head that got 270bhp. And take a look at my sig and members gallery and you'll see I'm currently attempting to do something special with a G60

305mm are 4 stud from the SEAT and 315mm for 5x100
-
Ahhhh are yours a later style exhaust or early? Mine are for an early. Been on their website and can't find them so I'd give them a call!
-
I've got one on the last rear exhaust mount as we had to fabricate a new mount on the actual car and it's pretty good. I've got the EX010. Then I have the chain reinforced rubbers on the rest of it from C&R Enterprises -
