  1. Search - As these have already been discussed!!!
  2. Looks nice!!!! But.................... In my opinion, from the bottom picture it looks very rounded and I'm not sure if that really suits the lines of the corrado!
  3. From the stealers but they are about £70 each if my memory serves me correct. I know they are some absolutely stupid price though - Thats if you have the heated ones
  4. Well I must say I've got Leather Porsche 911 Turbo Recaros in mine with full electrics and they have got to be the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in! (That sounds like such a boast but on the forum it always comes out not the way you intend!!!! )
  5. Just a quick question? Will Early Fogs and Indicators fit into a late bumper???? No need to discuss the whys and wherefores, just been asked the question myself!
  6. Mine did exactly the same recently! I put the car up on a ramp at my mates garage and took down the heat sheilding in the tunnel and put a bolt through with a big washer on it. Worked a treat!
  7. Don't know about bike carbs, but with porsche wheels - You will need 17x 7.5J with an offset between 52-55. Often when you buy porsche originals they will have 2 17x7.5J for the front and 17x9J for the rear. The rears are too wide for the Corrado so you need 7.5J all the way round then use a 25mm hub adapter. Get H&R Alloy hub adapters as they are TUV approved and the steel adapters are far far far too heavy!

    what oil?

    Only VW Synta Silver
  9. No the tape I think is made by design engineering - an american company. The tape is not on the exhaust but on the underside of the inlet manifold. I have normal exhaust wrap on the 4 branch!
  10. WOW - What a difference. The pick up and acceleration on the car is now mind blowingly quick as a Focus found out. I took Stevemac out for a quick blast and the focus was sat on my backside while we were approaching a dual carriageway. So i let him alongside, smiled and left him so fast it looked like he had stalled!!!! 8) As i got well ahead of him he flashed his lights at me knowing all to well he was Done1!! Anyway to answer Darrens question about the heat tapes. After that blast and a run totalling about 8 miles. Some of it driving normally and for those that know that I sometimes can't resist "driving" I got home immediatly opened the bonnet and stuck my hand on the top of the inlet manifold!!!!.................. And I didn't melt any of my skin to it. Quite the opposite it was only luke warm. Put the sceptisism aside Darren - IT WORKS!!!!!!
  11. Darren. I'll let you know if I notice any difference. Perhaps if your at Stoner Park bring your temp probe. Although mind where your putting it!!!!
  12. Cool Tape. Comes from Demon Tweeks £16 for just enough to do the underside of the inlet manifold. And can supposedly reflect heat up to 1500 deg?? Well Henny used it on J-DUB and highly recommended it and hopefully with that and the heat wrap on the exhaust should help keep the temperature down!
  13. Well got a bit more done to it now. Lost the Powerflow as even the Owner of Powerflow admitted that the powerflow systems are seemingly not suited for a modified G60 and refunded cost of exhaust parts for my system and my garage honoured the labour guarantee and fitted a Longlife Exhaust which has ended up not costing me a bean! Also while at it have not fitted a 4 Branch Manifold. Had the luck of the devil with this. Couldn't believe it. The original manifold has never been off the car in almost 14 years. Again'st all advice decided to do it now instead of waiting until I change the head. So for the last 4 days I havemt used the car while I had the inlet manifold off and have religiously, twice a day soaked the manifold studs in WD40. Low and behold first thing this morning got up the nerve to have a go at removing the manifold. - Every single bolt came straight off. No studs sheered off ar were siezed. NOW THATS WHAT I CALL LUCKY   8) Heat wrapped it and added Cool tape to the underside of my inlet manifold to aid with keeping things as cool as possible! Pics attached. Ported out and polished the throttle body. To be finished off tomorrow before fitting. Finally, given my spring tensioner bar a knew lease of life (as some of you already knwo from my other thread) by using adapted poly bushes from the wishbones of a triumph with custom made inner metal sheaths!
  14. First thing to check is: Lift up the leather gaitor on the gearstick and on the left hand side their is a bar that protrudes to the left and that should have a small circlip on it that prevents the gearstick travelling too far to the left, but it is common for it to break. If it has broken and come off then the gearstick will travel too far making it really hard to find 1st and 2nd. Just replace the circlip (cost about 10p from any motor factors)
  15. 3mm Riley - That must have taken a few months to get that done then!!!! And now have a right arm 3 times the size of your left giving everyone the wrong impression of what you've been up to!!!
  16. Aahhhh Thats exactly what happened to mine!!! Can you get them for a dremel and any idea of where?
  17. Riley What did you use to grind your TB out?? I had a grinding stone on my dremel but was useless!!!! Darren still not sure what you mean by coneing the back out!?? I've attached a pic of the bacl of my old TB perhaps you could mark on their where you would cone it???
  18. Don't know what that would end up looking like? Anyone any pics of that done??
  19. I only polished the throttle body up as bought it already ported. Was Bananamans Spare! What do you mean coned the outlet?
  20. Just finished porting, polishing TB and cleaning and painting it all and the inlet mainfold. But can you look in last pic. I can't remember which vacuum outlet goes to the ECU and which one is blocked off when the carbon can is removed????? A or B?????
