Dealers are about the only place to get it from in spraycan form. Not that expensive really though. About a tenner a tin!
-
You basically need to use a heat gun to warm the adhesive makes it peel off a little easier. Then use HOT soapy water to rub off the rest of the adhesive thats left.
-
I will have a set next week in brum but they are unfortunatly minus tyres
-
Already done - But good advice!
-
No they can't. They are not police. They are there to reduce the demand on the police on non-emergency incidents, assist the police at incidents, manage resources and keep traffic moving etc See: http://www.highways.gov.uk/knowledge/tc ... off/03.htm However, if you constantly whip past them, they're gonna start to notice and inform the traffic coppers!

I just don't get it :cuckoo:

I'm a Synta Silver only person also!!!!
-
We've just supplied millions of pounds worth of kit into all there sites
-
I tell you what could be done!!!! Turn off CAPS LOCK!!!!
-
If you reach full boost earlier in the Rev Range isn't it true that as the revs increase over that full boost level the charger then starts sapping power from the engine??
-
Cup 3's indeed!
-
OOoooooooo!!!! Excited now!! - Ordering the rims in the morning for next day delivery and also the hub adapters! Should be on the car at the weekend and at the malvern show!!!! Providing the intercooler setup is finished!
-
I have 205/40/17 Eagle F1's and without doubt the best tyre I could have chosen. Apparently much better grip than the Toyos.
-
I think thats a pretty good price when you consider I've just forked out £1700 for a full custom made intercooler setup with Forge Motorsport Intercooler, oil cooler, polished alloy pipwork and red silicone hosing and Custom inlet with enlarged butterfly valves. Admittedly I needed the custom made aspect to fit into the vent in my RS4 bumper. But it sure puts the price into perspective!!!!!!!

I am going for 5x130
-
I only have one other set of mirrors!
-
I know what your saying Daz, but I haven't got £2K to spend on wheels while all the other mods are being done and having the expense of the girlf moving in and me having to pay to rent hers out!!!! My hand is being forced in buying these now as I have buckled one of mine. Plus I can't get them in 17"
-
I've been looking into doing this also. It has been strongly suggested to me that I have them lead filled to prevent any sagging etc! Will fiberglass do the same or in years to come does this risk sagging? All the same woudl love to see the finished article - Good work fella!!!
-
My word Jim that was quick off the mark!!!!! :onfire:
-
So I'm torn between 3 - Cup 1's, 2's or 3's But swaying more to the Cup 3 dogleg style! Any opinions?
-
I have a spare set of mirrors that I was going to sell (keeping them until I had the finished article incase something went wrong!!) I might get them done for someone and painted to paint code if someone wants them. But the £40 is mates rates. plus the cost of the set of mirrors and a little for the 2 of us. I'll need to ask what he'd do a second pair for. Plus the mirror units cost me almost £60 so I need to recoup costs. Let me know if your interested!!
-
I tried it first and came out 'ok' But you couldn't get the paint in the seam and it had this funny colour mix of primer and paint colour. Sort of difficult to describe but basically "twee!"
-
A mate did it all for me for £40
-
Well just got them back. I've had the seam around the mirrors plastic welded, smoothed and then painted body colour. They aren't on the car yet as that's still off having the FMIC and custom throttle body fabricated but have a look at the pics and tell me what you think!
