Had a flexi blade for about two years now. I find it works well as long as your car is kept polished, easier for the water to run-off.

Don't like Magnatec.Used it once and vowed never again. I found it to be extremely thin when warm and oil pressure dropped under hard cornering. I changed it to Comma's fully synthetic last time and it seems to be very good.So far. :?

Ever wondered what car you would replace your beloved Corrado with? Well I think I've found out what I'll be buying next! Mate of mine, who works on an Offshore tug, went back to work this week for 4 weeks and left me with the keys to his new car-A one year old Leon Cupra R 1.8T. :D Had it out for a spin tonight-all smiles I can tell you.Superb accellaration,S*ithot brakes and very, very subtle. If you don't look for the badge....... There was another grey Leon 1.6 I think, tooling around tonight and my mates were trying to race him thinking it was me. Anyway...I WANT ONE!!!!!!

Or shud that be the other way round?

Mines a '91.No ABS fitted to it. I think this subject was one of my first posts! 8)

  Lest see how they get on when they try to sell it....F***ing muppets. :x

There's also a Rover 600 with similar spec. The ti I think it was called.Pretty much a sleeper there too-looked like a standard 600 with smarter alloys.

Congratulations to you and your other half :D :D Cigars in the post yet?

Lol,that pic looks like a familiar sight...I've been staring at the same thing for the last cupla months wondering where I can get the bolt/stud for the tensioner cos mine has vanished since I took the head off! Any ideas/suggestions or even a part no would be greatly appreciated.
-
I must be the exception then...Corrado G60--->Polo coupe 1049cc----->Mk2 Golf GTi 8v
-
Ok,gonna regret this but cheesy grin aside...this is me!
-
What's all that pink CAT5 ethernet cable all about??? LOL! It was just lying around the workshop and it "assisted" me putting the vibration damper back in place on the alternator...won't explain...It'd take too long! :)

Late to the party again,dammit!

Have'nt looked but from the descrition is it the "Evil twin"from the little blue oval? Seriously sick that one!
-
Cool.I might go for that. What will I need to fit it?
-
WTF!? Why is there a 'roo bar under that hooooge I/C?  By the way what is that intercooler from? Been trying to get hold of one from Pitstop, but can't get one now until after Inters, cos they're so damn busy getting other stuff ready for the show. Which, incidentally, was when I was hoping to get mine ready for!! :-P

Looks like a Skoda Octavia lights/grill setup to me. :? Not to fond of the bumper though.

:luvlove:   Might be a bit sticky on a warm day..........

Twas me who had the same problem. Found the damper loose and just knocking around on the drive shaft so as a temporary measure,I jammed it up against the engine block-seemed to cure the problem-until it works loose again,of course. As I have the car up om stands anyway,I'll have to get the grinder out and cut it off.

HA! Serves you right!shud never take your car into town on Saturday night. I remember a mate of mine (who lives on a farm)who took his ride-a ratty Fiat Uno turbo if memory serves-into town, just for a quick one, which ultimately turned into one of those unforgettable nights that you can't remember the next day! His car ended up in one of his own fields buried under a haystack. He didn't find it until his old man put the forks he was using on the tractor through both doors and the front wing, whilst moving that hay.Ouch! He stopped talking to any of us for a month, although none of us can remember much about it. :D

Yup,thems the bolts!

Found out something new today. I went to refit my head and found that the headbolts were too large and had a mahoosive washer fitted to them. I phoned C+R and they said that they may actually be for the Golf rallye G60 instead of the C G60. Why would they be different if they use the same engine,or is it a different series? I would've thought that they were the same engine so all the parts were the same but apparently there are some differences. Does anyone know of other(useful)changes between the two engines? Does the Rallye have a bigger I/C for instance or does it use the same as the Corrado? By the way, whats the opinion on my new avatar? :?

Well PVW's out, your thoughts on the SNS feature?
Blown replied to Dubcharged's topic in General Car Chat
Cool. Enough info on there for the masses,i.e. those that aren't lucky enough to own G60's and know about SNS, to get you customers  If I'd ever be in London with the C(unlikely  )I would defo drop by after that article. -
Cheers for the info! Yeah, sorry, shud've said it's a G60  All I need now is the part number for the throttle body to manifold gasket and I promise I'll stop asking questions...... :D Okay, just one more...There were brackets at the left end of the head just next to the fuel rail. Can't remember how they go on-are they strictly necessary or can I conveniently "forget" to re-install them?(it would probably tidy things up a bit too!) Thats it,I promise......for now......
