That's what I keep telling her but computer says NO! Can't complain to much as looking to add either a 3.2 a3 or S3 to the fleet just cant decide which. What a hard life.

Seems a lot of money to me. I wonder how much a bodyshop would charge to fill and paint roof gutters? Not original, but probably look good IMO.

 

EDIT - just re-read title of thread - Hilarious prices for broken USED PARTS - but even so, still a lot of money.

Sadly they are not that overpriced for genuine. People have paid more for them. Its the can of cold coke in the desert.

What is causing the boot to twist? There shouldn't be any reason for it to twist.

If you do try to track it yourself do it by 1/4 of a turn at a time. It doesn't sound like a lot but will make a big difference.

Can I have some of what he is smoking please.

I think it should go on the right hand side of steering column or in that general area.

I believe that when the water expands from the heat that is the tube that takes the excess back to the expansion tank to maintain correct pressure. Does it leak when hot and cold or hot only?

Nice one. Must be good to see it in the car after all this time. Got my engine out on Sunday but have also been working on striping the car all week so know how you feel.

Got it out now. Had missed one of the mc bolts. Its amazing how much easier things are when your calm. Lol

Bump. Still for sale

It is/was black. Carried out some rust repairs and a couple of dings then primered the whole outside of the car which is how it has sat and is showing signs of surface rust in one or two areas. So will need to be repainted.

I have undone all the bolts/nuts on the pedal bracket but that won't shift either. I have tried to remove the part can't think of it name to the right of the servo to give me more room but it seems to have 2 bolts one which I have removed from the engine bay but it looks like the other is from inside but cant locate that either.

Does anyone have a guide for brake servo removal. I have removed the 4 13mm nuts from inside the car and have disconnected from brake pedal at the top but cant wiggle it out. Do I need to separate the part that goes from the pedal to the servo itself? If so how do they come apart. Cheers in advance stew.

How are the fenders? And does it have a passenger door handle?! If they are good, could you ship them at my expense?!
