I'm 31. Have had Corrados for nearly a decade

Unfortunately I was in the daily as the engine is still on the garage floor.

So 40.5 so far.

Great to meet you today and have to say the car looks as good in the flesh as it does in the pics. You can see a huge amount of effort has gone into it. Got to admit I am now fighting the urge to smooth my bay.

Having meet a few Corrado owners at dublogic today. My wife stated "I thought all Corrado owners were your age" I thought it would be interesting to see what the average age of a corrado owner is. I'll start. 34 (1982) been a Corrado owner for over 2 years.

If looking at a G60 find out if the charger has been re built. If so by who and when and to what stage if uprated. If it hasn't you might need to factor in the cost if a re build.

I'll be there also but not in the c. Hopefully seeing yours in the flesh will give me the kick up the arse I need to get mine sorted. Will probably be hung over from the family party the night before.

Hi all. I am currently in the process of re painting the chassis legs on my G60 and am looking at relocating the siren from the turret to elsewhere where it isn't as visible. Any suggestions? What sort of things do I need to consider?

Looking great! How has the paint come up? I am debating on cellulose or 2k paint when I get to mine, has your paint hardened well? My father sprayed his 1930's ford with 2k and it seems quite soft, scratches easily?

 

The brake idea is good, what's stopped you going 5 stud out of interest? (For the greater array of oem/aftermarket brake upgrades etc)

Did you put enough hardner in when the paint was mixed? Should be a ratio of 2 parts paint 1 part hardner and 10% thinners.

I have for sale a 89 G60 complete engine including gearbox and charger for sale. Was running ok when I bought the car for spares. It has under 140k on the clock which I still have to prove mileage. Could have been me I work in Harold hill and was using it to get to work for a while before it started over heating.

I think the 92 has different hangers to an early G60. I'm only round the corner to you in Hornchurch.

I actually used the top mounts that were already on the car. I didn't think about it until it was to late as I was using it as a daily at the time. But will be changing them when I take them off again to give them a clean up.

More than happy with mine on a G60. Not to harsh but firm enough to have some fun.
