Does the car have a Catalytic converter fitted? I've fitted a de-cat pipe on mine, and my exhaust pops on deceleration. I like the sound to be fair 8)

I blew a transistor in the instrament cluster cos I'd wired the blue/white wire to the electric aerial ouput from my head unit! (What a plonker!) The transistor just switched the PWM speed pulse signal out to the radio and spoiler control module. You need to eliminate each component from the control system to see which bit is faulty. Chuck an oscilloscope on the blue/white wire. If you don't get a PWM signal that varies with the speed of the car, (and your speedo works) its the clocks that are faulty, otherwise it is likely to be the spoiler control module.

Last time I took my seats out I found nearly £6! 8) 8)

Hasn't PhatVR6 got one of these?

Teamwork, that's what I like!!

Oh and you need to lift the lever to move the seat back in the normal way....
-
There is a little nut/bolt in the middle of the seat at the front underneath. Undo that and slide the seat all the way back until it comes out of runners. if you have electric/heated seats, I guess there is a little plug underneaf that needs to be discounected too, but I'm not sure on that as I've only got poverty spec seats!

Things that have gone wrong and then fixed themselves.......

Wing mirror electrics break then fix themselves on mine....weird -
Don't fit the badge! Much better without it IMO. I tried my badge back on the front of mine when I fitted an FK badgeless grill, and it spoilt the whole sleek look! only my 2p's worth of course.....8)

75-80 degrees before going over 3k, thats what I do! Most damage is done to the engine when you start it and stop it anyway! No matter how you drive it!

Looking good dude. 8) Who you insured with now?

Yeah I'd like to no the power figures after all my hard polishing work! I'll get those bushes done, then we should be good to go! ABS sensors from ECP I think!
-
Not my cup of tea!
-
That seems a bit better! Would I be better getting genuine or not?
-
Couldn't rolling road it, as the front bushes are worn, he said it would have jumped all over the place whilst on the rollers. He just said there were two faults codes on th ECU refering to the two sensors
