Quick update - Cylinder head is coming along, Picking up a set of 9"x16" Borbet A's on Tuesday.... pictures will be posted next week....8)

The paint has faded quite substantially on the middle and back of my bonnet. Polish doesn't do a great deal to be fair, can anyone advise what I could do, short of a respray? The paint is bordeaux pearl. Should I T-cut it? Not sure if you are supposed to T-cut metallics!

Any one got the wiring digram for the spoiler control module? All I need is what is connected to which of the ten pins? Tried the search but couldn't find anything specific :(

It could be the spoiler control module, which you can get at be removing the dial cowelling, and its clipped on the inside of the dash on the left hand side. It has a plug in the bottom most side of it, which then connects to both the manual switch and somewhere behind the clocks. you just unclip it be pushing it up and towards the back of the car (if you see what I mean). You can then on plug it. I took the one out of my corrado about an hour ago, cos my spoiler only works on the switch too!!!

Right, well mine is 93 K-reg, so does mine have the early or late body shape? I have late style bonnet and grill, and early style interior??? I'm a little confused now. I guess I'll wait until I try and fit the wheels on wednesday, after I pick them up from the g-man on tuesday!

Right, getting some 9"x16" Borbet A's 8) next week and need to know if I need to roll my arches? I've got Koni/H&R (and spring caps) setup on my Corrado. What do you guys reckon? Is it the sort of job that I could do myself, if it needs to be done?

Good work....friend of mine had this done on his scirocco, but used filler....now its sagged! Hope you don't get the same problem with fibrglass. To be fair I can't see the fibreglass sagging, people make sub boxes out of the stuff, and they definately don't move 8)

I've got a magnex too.......fits well, sounds sweet (nice raspy note to it), and looks the part, and its on a 2.0l 16v too

I would say not, IMO. I've looked into both conversions, and the 1.8T conversion appears to be a lot easier as no real modifications to the engine is necessary, but the conversion to G60 on a 16v, 9A engine is a lot more involved, with compression ratio changes etc etc etc..... Just my 2p's worth though
