  1. 9.5:1 is high for a G isn't it? I think it may be higher than that, based on the problems it's had...
  2. Have a word with Dave or Graham @DGAutotech, they should be able to help :)

If you are handy with a TIG, then 1.8T inlet manifold off a 225bhp with the 16v flange welded onto it would work well. Or an Audi ABY manifold with the 5th runner cut off. For forced induction a short runner is preferable, as the long runners on the valver engine were designed to improve bottom end torque. As you are forcing the charge in there, there is no real need for it. You can still use it, and it will give you a further torquey punch, but at the expense of top end.

There is a thread on here for forced induction on valvers that would be the first port of call, here. A few things you'll need to consider; Lowering compression, Engine management, Cooling the charge, Inlet manifold etc etc. You'll also need to consider custom bracketry for mounting the charger, as there is nothing off the shelf. Mostly it depends on your budget and target performance.
  5. Not sure, but as the boards normally have a 6 week lead time due to the 'group customers together' type manufacturing, it could be after Christmas now. It depends if I can get 5 or so interested parties soon. However, I will ad you to the list on the front page, as you are interested. :)
  6. Does that mean we can get you wet?? :fondle:
  7. Only ever spoken to Kerry (Gary?) or John @ Brentacre, and always done the best deal for me :)
  8. Was gonna suggest a blocked CAT...not that then :( It's intermittent then? If so, could be a dodgy plug connection/wiring...

  12. Mate of mine had a mk1 G60 running around 200bhp. It went like a rocket! The engine suited the car soooo well! Do it!!!!!
  13. mate you must be desperate  really like the work you've done, keep it up It all adds up though :) Love what you've done there though.... 8)
  14. For most applications yes, straight plug in. The higher spec unit will have custom connectors, but the only way to keep the cost down is using the existing wiring and connectors. Nice OEM feel to it though, I like!
  15. Dave, are you using the standard fan controller's connectors too?
  16. Without trawling, what is the CR of that engine?
  17. Isn't a 62mm pulley just asking for trouble though?
  18. I will indeed. Going to order some more boards soon!
  19. Washed down with a gallon or two of RedBull, if rumours are to be believed...
