hi Craig, i bought one of the dubpower stainless 6 branch conversion manifolds, its a pefect fit and its sooo much less restrictive than the standard r32 manifold. heres a pic for ya. karl

well for the chargecooler you can get this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/POLISHED-LIQUID-A ... 0235433366 they also sell the pumps for them at about £50, or get the r32 water pump as this pushes more water around the system. and as for the chargecooler pre-rad, you need something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/CHARGE-AIR-COOLER-S ... dZViewItem see how cheap you can do it.

the chargecooler set up can be done for alot less than the schimmel set up, ok its not going to be so highly speced as the schimmel stuff. but for about £400 you can do it. i know this as thats what i spent on my set up, before i sold it all to go R32.

that was excatly what i was going to post, this kit will work, its what i used for re-dying my seats, and on the drivers bolster i had some deepish scratches and this kit got rid of 95% of the marks. karl

i have a set of the 10mm dubpower leads for sale mate, as you can see from these pics they are virtually brand new. in all honesty they did approx 800miles on the car. £50 and there yours. karl -
there is no need to touch the subframe at all when changing the clutch, i think someone is having you on mate. karl

well yesterday i fitted the dubpower r32 6 branch, it went well apart from me fitting the manifold, then realising i failed to put in one of the gaskets so had to take it all off again :censored: the fit is perfect, and it mated upto the de-cat with no problems at all 8) and as you can see the 6 branch is nowhere as restrictive as the standard manifold. so a big thumbs up to pete at dubpower :D karl

aye aye sailor, do i take it you had to come up for air, and the first thing you did was log onto here  yeh i'm sure you will be able to get one of those manifolds, when you get back onto some english terra firma, give me a call, and i will help you spend some more of your money... karl

i'm hoping in about a month it will be done, it would have been done if it was not for work, and the new house looming. plus just waiting for the new ECU to become available. i'm not in any rush though, as all good things come to those that wait. karl

to everyone who has said thanks to me, its no problem at all, and you were all a pleasure to deal with :)

and heres Matts (Dubunit's) phone number 01827 288778

cheers for the recommendations guys, and yeh as dom has just said, storm are the best known for doing this conversion. BUT they are the most expensive. i will not go into wether or not i would trust them though, as everyone has different views on all garages out there. theres also the Phirm, but you cannot get anything done there at the moment due to there workload at the moment, but as some of you may of seen, Elliot from PVW is going to R32 he's Rallye, and he has been discussing the conversion with Matt at Dubunit. karl
