  1. well its looking like a 100% done deal with the turbo kit i'm getting :) the kit includes the following, turbo manifold, GT3076R turbo, begi rising rate regulator, tial 50mm BOV, all the ARP bolts needed, a C2 motorsport 1.5mm stainless head gasket, green tops. and loads of pipewok/silicone hoses. they are from a mk3 so some will fit, and some will not. so here goes for some stupid questions :? will the exhaust downpipe from a mk3 fit onto the corrado?? or will i have to get another one made up?? also are green tops really needed?? i thought red tops would be ok?? and is there anything else i will need?? also gonna be getting a chargecooler, really cant stretch to the schimmell at the moment :( but what about this one, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DRAG-RACING-LIQUI ... dZViewItem i'm waiting for normancoal to come back to me about the schimmell SRI, so i'm hoping it will all be done in the next couple of months. cheers guys karl

  4. this was an absolute steal michael, and like andy said the steering wheel is very rare. just keep it standard though, as they are getting very rare in an un-molested state.

  8. there are a couple of very cheap kits on vr6oc at the moment, ones a vortech v1 kit, the other is a zr1 kit. both are for golfs so will need re-mapping.
  9. damn shame you wont be making it down to ed38 in the corrado chris, but make sure you pop over and say hi :) karl

  12. i met up with graham nemesis360 on here a few weeks ago, and the paint job on he's corrado is 99% perfect 8) infact its that good that when i get mine done (hopefully before xmas) i will be going to the same guy he used. pm him and he will send you the guys details. he told me that the guy he used would charge me approx £1800 for a full respray, which by the standard of the work i saw would be well worth it. karl
  13. well i have had mine replaced today :D i had it done at a local vw specialist. Matt at dub-unit fitted it for me, and all the annoying creaks/rattles have also gone i'm 100% happy with the job. if anybody else wants to go to him for yours done?? he only charges £175 for fitting it. pm me if you want he's mobile number. he is based in Fazely, near tamworth birmingham. karl
  14. i have bought the tomtom maps collection on dvd, i have got all the info for spain onto the sandisk 2gb card. BUT when i turn the tomtom on, it just shows the red 2 hand tomtom start up screen?? and will not show any info at all?? it just freezes on that screen :( i'm flying on sunday, and really need to take the tomtom with me, anybody else had the same problem?? or willing to lend me a tomtom europe sd card that i will pay for :) cheers peeps. karl
  15. coming along nicely 8) did you get the recaro's from germany by any chance??? and as for late leather doorcards, for get it. they are rarer than rocking horse shite. you can get the rears from german e-bay all the time. but the fronts?? no chance :( you could always do your own doorcards????? karl
  16. i bet the damage is not that bad?? its amazing what little damage you have to do to a corrado for them to right one off :( so depending on damage, get it repaired out of your 6k payout. then either keep it?? or then sell it as a completly perfect running car.
  17. as i have told (suggested rob) get some get some mk2 16v plugs, they will be perfectly fine mate.
  18. Mmmmmm, she would give a snowman a hard on
  19. hi james, long time no hear mate. i dont really have a clue why it looks so battered??? maybe doing 120mph+ regulary makes the little stones that hit the oil cooler feel like big boulders??? it was also sat in my damp garage for about 12 months before i got my arse into gear and fitted it :)
  20. here is where i fitted mine, and they really do get battered there. the cooler was brand new 8 months ago, think i will put some fine wire mesh on the front for some added safety from flying stones?? karl
  21. yeh someone on here was looking into it, but the r36 engine sits alot higher then the r32 lump, so you would possibly have to modify the bonnet. then there is the issue of many r36 lumps just seezing up due to oil preassure related symptons. so throw an r32 in, get some standalone engine managment. and hey presto easilly 300bhp 8) then if you get bored?? turbo it, 550bhp should keep ya happy????
  22. the Dotz are very nice looking alloys, but they weigh an absolute ton per alloy.
  23. here ya go Rob, opie oils are having a 15% discount weekend http://www.opieoils.co.uk/ or look in the suppliers forum for some more info. karl
  24. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TEAM-DYNAMICS-17- ... dZViewItem £555 inc delivery, and Andy mk3yeti dont mention brakes mate............ karl
