Yeah a CF matrix swap meet sounds like a good idea, there's plenty of room on ym driveway for a couple more rados  i think you would need a bloody big drive Rob, i can think of about 12 people on here with a f****d matrix :(
-
no worries Rob, and it will be fine with the matrix by-passed mate. like i said last night, mine has been by-passed for about 2 months :( i really dont want to do a matrix again. and it will take ya longer than 2 hours sorry timg60 but that is impossible. karl

dont take this the wrong way mate?? but i hate you :) not only do you have one of the best rado's in the world (personally) but you also live in a wonderfull part of the world, :(
-
just that most stupid people do live in the states

well to do them 100% yeh you would need to take them apart, or you could mask the cloth centres, you do not make much mess when you do it. karl

thought i heard my name mentioned :) well mike i have had my seats dyed for about 3 months, and on the leather it is still 100% perfect 8) the only problem is on the parts of the seat that are vinyl ??, as it can wear off after time, its only a 5 minute job to re-dye a patch at a time. and after 3 months i have had to re do a patch about 6cm in diameter once, the company i used, are developing a base coat for the vinyl sections that are used in more modern cars, as they started doing the kits for older cars that never used vinyl. and my only advice is follow the instructions to the letter, and if your doing a full interior?? take them up on the offer of hiring out a compressor, as you will use loads of compressed air cans. here is where i got my dying kit from mike http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/index.htm if you want anymore help?? just ask mate. karl

Why do we get so attached to these cars?
KADVR6 replied to skinnyman9000's topic in General Car Chat
the misuss says me and my corrado are "both very special" i hope she doesnt mean special needs?? -
seat ibiza 1.9tdi, the missus has one, and she drove to london then back to birmingham, it averaged 55.4 mpg. it looks pretty cool i think also. karl

and where are the taxi stickers???
-
well i have had 2 vr6's in 3 years, but still got my favourite alloys, and this has reminded me that i need some more upto date pics of my car. karl
-
well i think it was worth the hassle on mine as i feel the boost coming on alot sooner. but loads of people on here have them fitted, and they have all reported good things, price, get one off e-bay the raceland one costs approx £175 inc postage, plus exhaust wrap approx £40. plus plasters for your knuckles appox £10  i think double6's may be selling one also karl
-
yeh its possible, i did mine with engine in. just very very fiddly when you come to do the bottom bolts. you will swear, you will cut your hands to shreads, you will be throwing tools around, you will possibly feel like selling the car. but its worth it when its fitted,

because if you could run it vertically?? would this not mean that you may not have to re-locate the battery??? also i think 80% you could get it to fit between the charger outlet/throttle body if you were keeping the standard manifold??
-
there is also this one chris http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Water-to-Air-Turb ... dZViewItem very similar to the schimmel in design/looks, but can anyone with the schimmel tell me if it says anything about if the cooler can be used vertically, or does it need to be fitted horizontally?? cheers karl :)
-
damn, you beat me to it Shaun :)

hi chris, i have been looking into the charge coolers mate, and i think that the 4" x 6" or maybe the 4" x 8" from PWR will fit betwwen the charger outlet, and the throttle body, me and crazydave were looking at it when we met not so long ago. he has the chargecooler on he's turbo'd corrado and he is very happy with it. one day i will be popping down to PWR and trying one for size, but here is the link for them http://www.advancedvehicletuning.co.uk/ ... Fla i removed the air-to-water cooler completely, and yeh just joined up the 2 pipes with some stainless pipe and 2 jubilee clips. karl
