looks like steve has done another great job, hope all goes well with the r32 conversion mate, and get the manifold tested for leaks before you fit it mate, i'm sure i was just unlucky with my 3 manifolds :(

Pete Griff's 'Rado R32 - (Not quite!) Alive at last! :D

why not just keep the shell etc etc all safe and sound, and then use the shell as it's in very good condition for when/if you decide on vrt with 4x4. -
pete griff is selling he's quaiffed box mate.
-
i thought the face on 301's was flatter than these?
-
nice alloys what are they exactly?
-
personally i rate the phirm 10/10 and i rate stealth 2/10 on a good day.

when i had my vortech v1 charger it was running 296bhp and 265lb at 8psi, and it was no problem getting the power down at all, but thats just due to the linear way the charger puts its power out. plus my v1 sounded great :( theres a couple of people on here with around 400bhp, and they are still 2wd, but either a quaiffe or a peloquin lsd is essential with that type of power though.

if you want to put an r32 into your car then this IS what you want viewtopic.php?f=11&t=62901 contact pete as he's selling all the engine as a complete job lot, and is worth every penny of the asking price 3k. if you want an easy 280bhp then a supercharger is the way to go, low maintenance apart from making sure the belt is tight to avoid belt slip, or go for a rotrex charger, more expensive to buy but with greater potential than the vortech chargers.

really??
-
ya gotta be quick when i'm about mate
-
can you pm me over any info on the head please tom, and a rough figure you have in mind. cheers karl
-
really tom, i'm intrested if you have one. and Matt, my mates old mk3 vr with one of these heads, and a 6 branch made 220bhp, so it adds more than a couple of ponies.
-
can you see what i did above  but Zak's not on here at the moment so hopefully he has bought it?? if not, i may well have a nosey at it.
