  1. Noticed it on eBay this morning. Lovely car for lovely money. I came away from mk1 Golfs as their prices got silly and as a Saturday car they just got out of reach for the average person. I came to Corrados as they are fantastic value but are they starting to go the same way ?
  2. Got the Transcend as well and had it for 3 years now. My son has the new transcend in his car for his peace of mind being a new driver. Only £80 ish and tops the Auto Express cam test.
  3. Hi Chris, do you have one in black for the drivers side ? Mine has a small split in it. Sorry for jumping in the thread. Cheers Chris
  4. http://partscatalog.info/volkswagen/en/ Here is another
  5. Spring was around £12 and came with the rollers and spacers but I bought the separate ones in error.
  6. The Spring came exactly as it is on the pic :thumbleft:
  7. All available from VW except from the valve bracket which is obsolete
  8. Finally got all the wee original fixings for the rear brake bias valve for replacing at next years service as well as the thermostat kit that I bought. Also bought brushed stainless sill trims.
  9. Thanks they do suit the car and are different but still original wheels. My actual choice would be Porsche d90's with diamond cut rim but I wanted to use the original wheels to go along with my original ish look.
  10. Bought one and it's way too big and cheap rubbish 😁
  11. Popped the refurbed wheels on with the 12mm black spacers and they look decent enough, once the suspension has settled back down after being jacked it will look better again.
  12. You pay fir one and get the other half price, I think it was £25 for the pair with the plastic holders.
  13. My 12mm black spacers for the front arrived today ready for putting on along with the newly diamond cut Speedlines on Saturday. Also my new blue wing mirror glasses have arrived for fitting sometime.
  14. We all get there in the end  I just wish I had the skills and tools to be able to do more as I would have loved to remove the rear beam and do it properly but it's too daunting and I'm genuinely not capable  So I do the best I can and things like the beam and wishbones will remain in " used " condition
  15. Nice work and it's amazing how well the leather comes back once worked on :thumbleft:
  16. They make it look a bit better but I bought 12mm spacers rather than the 10mm's. Looking forward to them coming and then putting the new wheels on
  17. Love the Z4 coupe great buy
  18. Normal wheels on with 10mm spacers from my GTD, with front brakes finished and now going to order just black spacers for the front.
  19. Front all painted up and drying just now, just going to put the standard Speedlines on just now until I get the spacers.
  20. Cheers Kenny and it might suit a nice leather interior too ;-) Cleaned the new spare rubber mats and they came up like new and touch up paint and new blank for where the old immobiliser switch was.
  21. Fronts are not easy to find and I found a set in Poland that had been refurbed but didn't find them til after the brakes had been done. The rears are more common and I got them through eBay but I think you can get them from VW heritage and other places. Thanks for the comment.
  22. Lunchtime and do far I've picked the wheels up, cleaned and waxed the 2 rear wheel arches, cleared out the earth and rubbish from behind the fuel filler area in the arch and painted the rear disc centres and edge to try and stop the rusty look. I've second coated the disc so switch it drying then going to try a 10mm spacer on the rears.
  23. Need to buy these soon and I was thinking 15mm spacers all round but scared they rub !
