  1. Thanks a lot. They don't look too bad at all. I do like D90's as well and my missus is wondering why I just paid good money on getting my spare Speedlines diamond cut and new tyres
  2. Thanks Sean. I actually like the Montreal 2 wheels on a Corrado and was thinking about them also. The Gigaro wheels are local and are at a decent price with only a couple of wee marks.
  3. Hi folks I'm still unsure on my choice of wheels and have been thinking of others. Still being a newbie to a degree, what's people's thoughts on these 2 sets of wheels onto my grey VR6 that is lowered on a Bilstein b12 kit.
  4. Although for my Saturday cars I get Proxes, for my lads new alloys I got him Rainsports as they are well reviewed and being in Scotland, for his daily, it rains a couple of times a year...........January to June and July to December :bonk:
  5. I always but Toyo Proxes for my classic cars as they hopefully don't see the rain and I've read that they are not the best in the wet. So for me they are spot on.
  6. Fraser I have 20mm spacers that are going on my car but if you wanted to try them before I put them on you can ?
  7. Thanks very much. Just home from a local VAG meet where the car went down very well.
  8. Cheers I couldn't tell you but they are £13 posted from VW Heritage
  9. Don't ask but I went to VW and picked up the correct screws and plastic washers for the rear licence plate light for a whole 83p.
  10. Popped the new rear licence plate bulb holder, LED bulbs and new screws on tonight.
  11. https://www.facebook.com/groups/102631646581469/ If your on FB join my group and I'm having a wee meet if people are interested on the 24th April at Tartan Tarmacs brekkie meet.
  12. We could easily do a meet Centrally. I have a Retro VW Facebook page which I will do a few wee meets this year.
  13. Nice link I couldn't see it, that's where I got it as well :thumbleft:
  14. I've done it on both my front seats and it's great.
  15. http://partscatalog.info/volkswagen/en/?i=cat_vag_models&brand=vw&number=1542&set=1548&ein=1994&f=76&hauptgr=1234567890&hg=8&grf=015000076&bf=150&hgug=821&ug=21&parent_id=382922
  16. New front 20mm spacers, rear licence plate light and arch liner screws arrived, was thinking about doing the arches and spacers tonight but it's blowing a gale and honking down.
  17. Thanks very much. It's the least hands on old car that I've had but I will put a bit of graft into it now that the better weather is meant to be coming.
  18. Mine too and thanks very much as well :thumbleft:
  19. Wee update Car was well received at a local brekkie meet last Sunday and my drivers door card top trim has arrived as the original has a small split. Also dust caps and new front arch liner fixings. I've ordered new front liner arch screws, rear license plate led bulbs, new bulbs holder and new screws and washers for it.
  20. Nothing wrong with glamping with the bones getting older, I camp a few times a year but our good mates have a big camper van so we only sleep in the tent and glamp in their van which is nice and civil
  21. Another guy is coming down from up here to camp with his Storm, just met him today at a meet. Would have done both nights but up in the Highlands for a weeks break, so already heading down a day early to, so losing 2 nights would have had me divorced
  22. I've booked my tickets for Saturday night camping and heading down for 0900 on Saturday from Edinburgh. Coming with the missus and 11 yr old lad. :thumbleft:
