  1. Baffle me sometimes the old shatnavs. Bought one for chrimbo and judging by the roads it's tried to put me down, I reckon they're in league with one another to try and kill us off so they can rule the world with their scary tinny voices and mingy suckers.
  2. I got a name to ask for at dvla and emailed him here ages ago. No surprises he didn't reply. Probably dead busy doing, er... car things.
  3. Mate, can't you phone the water board or the rozzers and ask them for a lead on where the cars would've been taken instead of just hammering the number that no-one answers?
  4. Reverse is in the right postion for an Audi gearknob, but did think the front view looked like a C. Anyway, (ot) did anyone see the 100 best comedians thing last night? Was that Mk1 Scirocco parked up on Alexi Sayle's "Allo John got a new motor" vid a storm ?
  5. Wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddddddddddeeeeeeeeeeeennnnneeesssssssssssss!!! "Minimalist" interior too. Is this just for the track, or is it gonna get fitted out?
  6. Got another going that's in decent nick? I'm in the same boat as our new friend here.
  7. Last time I asked about subframes, it seemed all the ones for 4 pot engines were the same, but the vr's were different. So, er, Yes then.
  8. Cheers fellers. Will invest. Will the 300kg version do? A valver engine & box can't weigh more than that, can it?
  9. Anyone ever used one of these guys? Front subframe on the C needs doing soon, these things come in 300kg & 500kg flavours and locate into the wing channels to take the weight of the engine & box. Any good, or should I steer clear?
  10. Or a really good chucking stone on the shore of a lake!
  11. Henny, you saying the newsroom get things wrong from time to time? Nah, couldn't possibly happen mate  I heard a newsreader on the radio the other week say that those first pics of Anna Nicole Smith's body being brought out of the hotel had been sold for $500,000000. (Yes that does say 500 million) Half a billion!!  Oh how I chuckled. Now half a Mill, maybe.
  12. That's the feller. (Carp on the brain) Now you could pretty much guarantee that you'd have the only one in the entire country. Worth an extra 2k in my book, but not sure a quick visit home's gonna turn one up for you though.
  13. There's a bloke on here who took his over (Carpy possibly??) So there are some over there, mate. If you can afford the 2k to get one over, you must be tempted! :D
  14. Been at the catnip again mate?
  15. That's probably bigger than the house they're moving into.
  16. Some of the Volvos are absolutely stacked full of toys. Got a bit of prestige about them too, I suppose. Can get an S80 or even a C70 convertable for pimpin on the prom with that budget.
  17. Oh man... Kettle... Pot.... It's all a laugh, innit?
  18. Hmmm... Just for you then mate, I'll change it back to the one of the guy getting his face smashed in with a baseball bat which no-one seemed to have a problem with. Regardless of what this tool tried to do, you can't tell me you never laughed when you saw that picture for the first time?? Gets me every time. Oh, and Corradodriver.... Keep it VAG, mate.
  19. Insert coin and play again man!
  20. Aw mate. So sorry the f***ers burnt it out. Suppose as you said though, the tiny silver lining is you're not waiting and waiting to find out what's goin on. Had a car robbed and torched too. Know that sick feeling. Hope the insurance comes through for you too mate. Good luck.
  21. Dunno about the pitch, but if you need to murder any of the rusted in screws make sure you have a loooong drill bit handy.
