Artex it. -
Yep. Looks amazing. (Loving that last pic) Mate, do yourself a favour and keep it white, too. Nowt wrong with aqua blue, but changing from that to a standard colour seems far too much work for the gain. Clean white Corrado's look 8)

Is this the rarest Rado in existence today ?

It's got a lovely washer bottle. -
Scruffythefirst, May be a bit far for you, but just rang a place in Liverpool we use for all our tube bending. One-offs ltd 0151 922 7171 They can do 75mm dia s/s, but wall thickness is an issue. If they bend it, they can get the minimum radius down to approx 350mm, but the tube wall thickness would have to be about 4mm. If they roll it, minimum radius is about 500mm but wall thickness can reduce down to about 2mm. Might be worth bearing in mind mate.

You ever seen a pic of a cabrio Rado with the roof up?? :pukeright: Summer use only! -
(Yes I've used the search) MOT time soon. Wanna check if my ropey valve seals are gonna spew the emissions test for me. Just borrowed a Gassy Sniffy Box Thing off a mate, and am gonna ram its probe up my cars fundament when I get in. Dumb questions for today are...... A) What Co2 % is allowed on a pre-cat motor? B) What % should an unmodded 1.8 normally be putting out? C) I'm assuming burnt oil will result in higher hydrocarbons. If so, what's the upper limit for those bad-boys? Cheers in advance.

Makes sense. I'll ask him if he's already tried that. 8)

Is that 2 year period standard throughout the industry? A mate of mine told me he lost his NCB after not getting a policy within 6 months of his car being written off. I thought it was 2 years, too.

On my way to work this morning, pulled over to get a paper from some random corner shop in deepest darkest Huyton. Getting back in and some lad walks past.. "Ey maaaate, daa's fuuckkkkin mint for an haaaaaich reg" Oh. Er, ta mate. My passenger asked me if I'd just copped off.

Does that answer your question, Dave??

Yeah Pagid FR were what I'd promised myself when the time came to change, but looks like I've left it too late to pick any up now. Think I'll have to 'keep it real' Sorry Chris. [/Thread hijack]

Felt the scrape of needing new pads myself this morning, but can't wait for delivery of any funky ones (Going to Scotland on Wednesday). Are all the motor factors pads (ie Ferodo & the like) garbage? Stealers want £37.60 for a set of front-uns for mine. Should I stay oem?

Tweaked G60's can outgun standard VR's mate, but again- No ncb. Relatively young... insurance could hurt!

Are they the same? Aftermarket leccy window's just gone pop (amazing timing in this weather) and I need to revert to a manual winder for a while. Will mk 2 Flog handles fit right onto the splined shaft that's there? Oh, and did cars that started life with elec windows still have that same splined shaft present? Ie- could I replace my aftermarket motor/winder gizmo with oem lifting gear, or would it mean a replacement door with it already in? Thanks in advance.

Arse end looks neat and smooth with the de-badging Henny. Brake light's good too. :) Did you ever get round to doing anything with wing mirror indicators??

Mines just started acting up too. After much messing round getting the g/f to flick the switch while I was round the back end (oo-er) it's doing similar to above. Keeping the button pressed all the time, it'll raise up a centimeter, spoiler motor will click and stop for exactly 5 seconds. Raise another centimeter. Click & stop, and so on until after about 3 weeks it's at full extension. Same on the way down. Took it for a blast, and when I got to raise speed it only lifted a single clicks worth (1 cm). Slowed right down to lowering speed and it stayed there. Had to lower it with the button. All very odd. Not a lubrication issue this, it's as if the motor is running on the intermittent wiper setting. Anyone had similar probs??
