Cheers, Mick

That's ok mate :) I will of course let you know of any updates, I'm going to get through your build thread soon especially now it's quiet at work ;)

I do dig those wheels ;) And I meant it will 'aid' ride comfort lol  but since you mention it I have all the components to put air ride on my old girl it's just a question of when. I'd love to do it now but insurance would be a bomb so I'm holding off for a couple of years yet to build up a NCB. I bought the parts from america, 4 strut bags and 2 compressors with all the dials and gauges and got a friend in Dallas to post it over, cost me about £1k all together which is damn cheap especially for strut bags. I already had an air tank lying around so I'll use that plus all the fittings. I plan to put them on coilovers so I can adjust them just right so it'll sit as low as possible(when parked obliviously!). I will be updating my build thread which I eventually get on with it but when that'll be who knows lol :confused4: I too enjoy fast and loud, they mostly ruin the cars they build but sometimes they do cool stuff!
-
Thanks mate. If I don't get on with them then oh well, always more choices out there. They have been on my list ever since I saw them on an american C and wanted them ever since! hopefully some sensible tires should help aid ride comfort.

Gold - I've heard but still couldn't resist lol! Coullstar - They are 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. 36 offset though, and I've spoke to people who ran them and they fit better than you'd think. And yes my friend is making me up some adaptors.

I think they look great, suits the car well!

I believe it was held on using a sticky back foam, I have used some sticky back foam to put mine back on and it worked fine.
-
Change of plan now lol, those wheels I initially wanted went for over my budget, so what does a logical person like me do? Goes and buys a set of 17" Corvette C4 saw blades Did my measurements and they will fit...just...
-
Thank you Jim! And thanks to everyone else for commenting, you will all be entered into the draw but it's not too late for others! you all still have till this Wednesday at 12pm to enter :)
-
Glad they got to you ok mate! The only sort of thing I could think of is you could remove the sticky back foam I put on there and replace it with double sided tape, which is much thinner. You could ever sand the back of the badges down to get them more flat. But I'm sure someone else might have a few ideas :)

No problem mate glad you like them :)
-
Thanks mate but he already has a set on the way to him!

Thanks for the kind words Sean :) it means a lot to me! It's just a shame I can't give more out at the minute as I had to do these at my mums work during work time so it's a bit naughty lol!

Hi guys, I have made up some Audioscape logos using vinyl with rose gold plating. I initially had the idea of making up a pair of these to go on my newly acquired Audioscape door pods as one of the logos was missing on the speaker covers. I then offered to make some up for a few guys from the forum as they had the same issue. So I now have 4 sets going spare and instead of getting rid of them I thought I'd give them away to you guys, as all the help and support I've had from you all has helped me a lot so I'd like to give something back! So to do this fairly all you will need to do is comment on this post and I will pick names at random, 4 names will be picked and each of you will get a set of logos. On Wednesday 1st March at 12:00pm I will pick the names at random and let you know who's won. As for price of these I only ask for a non compulsory donation of £2.50 to help with materials, time and postage costs. You don't have to pay it would just help me get on top of the postage really! Here are some pics of them, let me know what you think of them and as I say 4 sets are going to you lot :) Cheers guys, Mick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

-
Yeah sounds good to me mate! I will do some measurements and let you know.

Hi all, I'm looking into some new alloys for my 16v. I have tried searching on here but I struggle to get my head around all the wheel jargon and I'm sorry if this has been asked so many times. Basically the wheels I want are as follows: 4x100 16" 8J ET25 195/40/16 Just wanting to know if these will fit my car and not foul/rub on anything, or require arch rolling. I am running standard suspension at the moment and the brakes are standard. Thanks

Thats incredibly strange mate... There should be a hole drilled so you can connect up the speakers. From memory there is a blue and brown wire that clip into the back of the speaker, if you can't see them then I have no bloody clue... Factory error??

I agree with Cressa, I used the screw fix ones and they were fine. The sealey one seems a bit overkill!
-
Thanks bud ;) And yes got one in my toolbox ready to be used.
