  1. 195/50R15 6Jx15 ET38 4x100 These are the original measurements for my alloys I believe. Results are the new wheels will have 7mm less inner clearance and extend an extra 43mm on the outer position. Will this cause an issue?
  2. Thanks for the link and advice, much appreciated. I should have been clearer in the OP, those sizes are for the new wheels I would like, and not the ones I'm running now. Ill have to find those out. So I should measure my original stock alloys and go from there? I should have done that in the first place really but the car is in storage at the moment so its a real pain!
  3. Hello everyone, I'm looking to get some new rims fir my valver as I'm going down the air ride route very soon. Problem is, I've never bought wheels for a car ever. And I'm really struggling with measurements and offset and all that. Also what size tires to fit :/ My car is running the standard 4x100 15" alloys, and the specs of the new wheels I want to fit are as follows: Offset: 20 ET20 Stud Diameter: 100 Rim Width: 8J Number of Studs: 4 Rim Diameter: 16 Can anyone help me with where to begin? My car is lowered on coils at the moment, around 80mm I believe but i can adjust to fit as I'm using my coils with the air ride when I fit it anyway. Thanks in advance :)
  4. Hi guys, I have a set of aktiv black speaker covers for the early interior and one LH grey one. They are in good condition for age, but do have some scuffs and marks. each one has a clip snapped but still can be fitted. Looking for £12 each and I'll cover postage.
  5. all sorted- going to spray my own
  6. Hi guys after a set of red read light clusters. Thanks
  7. I do have it then  I didn't get a chance to view all my stuff in the pack, better dig it out! thanks jim
  8. I'm very new to the scene as just been able to get to the age where I can insure my valver for a sorta reasonable price, I've paid my subscription to the CCGB and like the members that we have, also on the Corrado forum too. I'm sad to see this situation, as I'd love to get going to some meets and see some cool cars and being able to show my car too (as you lot are the only ones that will appreciate it lol). Problem is as I suppose it is with most members is getting the cars to shows, being the drive or the fact that the car has broke again. I'm in that boat unfortunately, lots of work to do and recovering from a motorbike accident doesn't help either. I like the CCGB site but I do spend most of my time on here, but I do find I struggle to interpret the calendar on the CCGB website and how I'm able to sign up to events (probably it's very simple, just me being an idiot). And again, I'm from Oxford ways, and some shows will be a struggle to get too but you can't really seem to help that as we have members all over the place. And Jim as for the magazine I didn't even know you had one! I'd be very interested to have a read and also add some content to help out. Hopefully once I'm a bit more mobile I'd like to do my car up and I'm even going down the air ride route so some members might be interested.
  9. Looks pretty funky, seen some game play and like the idea. Not sure if I'll be picking it up yet though.
  10. Congrats on the MOT! It made my morning finding and reading this thread! absolutely awesome job and great skills. Hopefully will get mine there some day. Keep up the good work, just needs to go lower ;)
  11. Thank's for the info mate, I'll have look at your threads to get an idea. And totally agree with you on that, also I don't think any car can put a smile on my face like a rado does! I'm not very mechnical minded, I tinker here and there but at least I can work on my car unlike the newer stuff lol.
  12. Nice too see another valver! welcome, this forum has been very valuable to me with sorting out my valver :)
  13. Thanks for the info guys. I posted a while ago about my heater matrix going as steam was coming from the vents. However it did stop so I just hoped it was a fluke, so I changed the heater motor and switch over thinking things would be dandy... how wrong I was... Goldfinger- I have your help sheet already and will get started soon as I can, thanks for the extra info on the air flow! fendervg- I seem to keep forgetting I own a Corrado... It's one thing after another! I'll keep you posted.
  14. Further to my last post, I've finally managed to fix my heater/blower so now I wont go cold in the winter. However, no matter what setting or temprature I put it on all the windows seem to mist up! When it's going i've felt the vents and the air flow dosen't seem great, especially on the left hand side that de-mists the front windscreen. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue? As it seems better to to have my window open like I did before but I can't really do that in winter! Thanks in advance, also my car has is a no AC model but does have heater rear screen.
  15. Hi Dave, apologies for the late reply, I'll take the one with the tap and drill bit to be safe.
  16. Update: Thanks to all for the help and ideas. Turns out in the end it was the actual switch was the culprit, although I have changed the motor istself as it was sticking a bit.
  17. Hi Dave, if you have anymore I'd like one please.
  18. goldfinger - Thanks for that buddy, I'll pm you now. Jim - sorry should have clarified, the heater blower motor that sits under the dash on the left hand side with the reisitor pack is disconnected as I'm waiting on a new one. Heater matrix is connected as normal and isn't bypassed.
  19. Thanks Dox, just seems strange as my heater dosent work and has been disconnected for a while :( not sure whats triggered it to go.
  20. I feared that was it :( big job too :(
  21. Driving to work today and noticed what looked like smoke/water vapour coming out of the heater vents above the stereo! I've pulled over and checked oil and coolant and all levels are fine. Smoke doesn't really smell, no electrical or burning smell at all, quite sweet actually. I've researched and people say it could be the heated motor but mine is completely disconnected! It only happens once the engine is on and I'm driving, and as I've said it's strange as my blower/heater isn't even connected as I'm waiting for a replacement! Any help would really be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
  22. Just a quick update, replaced both cylinders as I wanted to be safe and all good! Clutch works as it should now. Looks like the master was the one at fault as the slave looked reletivley new. Thanks for the help guys :)
  23. Thanks for the help guys, parts are ordered and picking up today so will post an update if it's fixed!
  24. Ok thanks very much, will get that blower motor out. The guide looks very helpful so should be all good. thanks again.
