Hi all just wondered if anyone has some advice on the choice of rubber (make&size) i should get for my porsche rims. They are 7x16 all round. Would like them sort off streched over the rims. Cheers for any advice.

Been looking through the posts and the car looks sweet. Looking forward to getting the issue of PVW. Well done

I also bought one in the group buy. I head back and forth from Manchester to Scotland every so often to visit the folks and i have been known to put the foot to the floor for a while on the journey. The oil temp stays down way down compared to before and i have even noticed the water temp staying down slightly. But in my honest opinion its the best mod you could do.

Had the same problem mate, well from what you say its the exact same. Got it scanned with VAGcom and nothing came up. Took it too Awesome gti and they had a look at it and in the end the problem was a loose connection with 1 or 2 of the leads. Hope this helps.

dont quote me on this but they look similar to the one's on Jay's car if they are they are MX5 wing mirrors. Dont know what year. Hope this helps.

I can confirm the car is running like a dream now. I loved it the first time i went in it about a month ago and i love it even more now. This is one amazin motor (well apart from the rattle in the roof, joke) it handles like a dream and that diff is amazin. Have a nice smooth drive to leeds try not to scare the misses too much when you put the foot to the floor!!!!

Well done trigger, Cheers for the pm. Let me know how it drives and if you think it was worth it, and i'll make the decision if i will get it done. Done a bit of research and with what i have read it sound like a good thing to do. -
I've got one on my rado and it sounds awesome. It was one of the first things i did on my rado and i would not go back. Bought it from the US as it was cheaper. Get one mate its worth it.

Was going to take some pics last night but as usual it started raining, so i thought i would do it today but once again raining. My brothers mate says its a once a year thing so everytime i wash it it should gleem!!!!! Will wait and see. Your right though they charge 300 quid ish to customers who are silly enough to pay it. I did get it for free and he says he can get me a few more on the sly!!!

Keep the rado, you have spent the money on the rebuild so apart from the matrix going i assume the car must be running sweet. Plus if your anything like me when i drive my corrado i have a permanent grin from ear to ear. Keep it mate it looks good.

Just a quick question, my little brothers mate sent me a polishing kit called Diamond Bright, just wondered if anyone has used this stuff before. He valets cars for a merc Dealer up in Scotland. I used it yesterday and it came up such a treat. its a long process but in my opinion it was well worth it.

Hi all just had my adapters delivered so i can finally get round to getting the porsche rims on for the summer season. The question i have is i dont know what make of tyres to go for and size. I dont want them too stretched over the rims but slightly would be nice. And what in your opinion would be the best make to get. The wheels are 7x16 all round. Cheers for any advice.

since i got my rado nearly 3 years ago now i have always taken my car to Awesome. There old garage was good but the new one is fab. The facilities there are great and the staff are very helpful. Just last week i had a problem with my car and i took it round to Awesome and the owner Jim Cotton got his hands dirty and sorted the problem out it was it there for over an hour and he did not charge me fot the time. Ihave had my rado serviced there and had a few jobs done too(large and small). Never had any problems with them and i find prices reasonable.

hi all, my little brother fitted his boost gauge in his G60 in the drivers air vent. He managed to make a metal frame for it and paint it black to match the dash. Looks very nice if i do sat so myself it does not look out of place at all. will try to get him to take a few pics to see what u all think.

Its all sorted, thank feck. Took it to awesome gti today for some reason i was crapin my pants thinking it would cost me an arm and a leg. Jim at awesome took it in stuck it on the Vag com just to double check that no faults would appear. Well nothing did so took it out for a test drive, came back them there was him and another mechanic under the bonnet. My heart seemed to be going ten to the dozen for some reason. After about an hour and a couple more test drive's Jim came in to the waiting area and told me it was all good. For some reason 1 or 2 of the leads were dodgy and not connecting properly or something along those lines. With that done he then told me no charge and i drove off once again with the biggest smile on my face. So all is well now and will continue too be. Cheers to Jim at awesome for fixing my pride and joy. And cheers to all who gave me some advice and help.

Hi all just drove back from Scotland last night in the rado. The question i have is sitting on the mway all was fine and around 80mph in fifth put the foot right to the floor and noticed a juddering feeling as it approached 100mph( as if there was no fuel getting to the car).I had this sort of problem before and took it to awesome gti and they replaced a " hall impulse sensor". The thing is i have just drove it today and it does not seem to be doing it. It sort of judders in 2nd slightly sometimes. Also when i was driving it back to manchester last night it wont do it if you progress to 100mph gradually. Anyone know what this could be. Need to get it on the VAGcom anyone in manchester not doin much today who has one to meet up and help me out!!!!!!! Get in touch. Or any tech advice to point me in the right direction to what the problem could be. Cheers. call me on , and i'll call you back. Edit: Removed your mobile number now that you've solved the problem so you don't get weirdos calling you! - dinkus
