    4 weeks on still driving,running excellent,pulls really strong.Will be going away for the winter soon all though it’s gets tax for a full year(never know may get a nice day)

    I was just courageous,I am selling my Corrado (well sort of) I will only sell it to someone who will appreciate and look after it probably,as l have put to much work into this Corrado

    Aerial

    Looking to replace the roof aerial,was going for shark fin,but thought is was to much trouble,got a roof aerial had a quick look found the aerial lead from the aerial base has a small screw fitting and a black wire going into the base.had a look a scirocco shark fin but no leads coming from the base. What is the black wire for,can l get a aerial lead which has a small screw fitting Have posted before about a shark fin which was useful though is was to much trouble to fit

    Corrado is now on Facebook in market place if you wish to have a look Will be going on axal stands over the winter,wheels removed,Archs,wheels polish and sealed

    Last chance this year as going on axal stands for the winter,will get the wheel Archs ,wheels cleaned and polish (the wheel Archs are that good)

    Check the 3 wires that go to the throttle body,has a similar fault found the wiring had snapped inside but looked ok on the outside of the wiring

    The only mods on my Corrado are coilovers,(have the standed suspension), steering wheel,radio Everything else is original ,may be why it runs so well now

    Give me something to do over the winter,as all l have planed is to remove the wheels clean polish the wheel arches, rear of wheels (l know sad but it's all done)

    Just thought l post this my Corrado has NO issues over the last 8 months runs great,drives great not done anything to it This may give hope to someone out there See so many post of problems Don't get used a lot (900 miles last MOT)But still running ,driving grate.Living the dream

    Found my o/ s wipre arm worn on arm where it's bolts on (last owner).Uesd some wiper arms from a polo ,had to mod the arms (heat and bend ,drill tap)work well better than the Corrado ones

    I work l as a technich in a main dealership most of the fully trained thchnichs whoud not have a clue to go about this

    I spent over 3 hours under the Corrado to remove n/s axal brake pipe from the bracket,very dark time The o/s was just 1 and half hours

    when l fist got the Corrado had the sense of dread as it was all ways citing out ,hard start,none start Carried out a lot wiring repairs over the winter plus brakes,suspension etc,and now l in joy driving with a sense that it get me there and back no problem

    Passed the MOT today,nice clean pass so 13 months MOT happy days

    Only just seen this so miss out this year,Have you got to be a payed up member to get in and camp and show the Corrado What is next years dates or is it to early for dates

    Coolant

    Going to replace the coolant,on a 2.0 16v, is the any bleed nippels ect don't what to get a air lock in the coolant system,any information is welcome
