Most scanners will only read cars from 1996 on If you can get hold of a sanp on scanner it will read it

Well got the strut brace dos not fit, hits the header tank and the brake master cylinder,says it is for a vw golf ect. The company that sold the brace is excellent customer service no problem with them refunding the money If you have a strut brace fitted can you post some photos to see how it’s fitted Cheers

If you remove the wiring block from sensors and hold the wiring block and gently pull on the wiring to check the wiring is secure inside the wiring block,Have you a scanner to carry checks l had this on my Corrado 2.0 he previous owner had fitted lots of sensors because of a running fault. You can pull the rubber boot back and check the wiring You can also put a jump lead from earth side of the battery to a good earth on the engine this will earth the battery to engine

Just got the strut brace from eBay £40.00 all in Look at the rear brace above that’s look good May be getting one of those in a couple of months What is the cost of a rear brace

Thinking of getting a Strut Tower Bar Brace the bar that goes from top mount to top mount Are they any good,do they make much difference,how does the bar secure to the top mounts Has anyone fitted this type of brace bar. Again any information welcome thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply,Any information is more than welcome.I think l tryed the above wiring and got no live feed, but l was jammed in a small spot on the garage,so wil check when l pull the Corrado out of the garage cheers

Thanks Jim I was thinking of wiring the dash camera into the live feed of the radio but unsure if it will affect the radio in some way Dash camera sorted,now looking for where the alarm wiring go’s in to the central locking I can put the tracker somewhere under the bonnet as it is waterproof as it for a motorcycle

Less than a 1,000 miles in 6 1/2 years.had this Corrado for 8 mouths l have covered 500 miles

Just an update Went out in the Corrado on Saturday,covered about 15 miles all good the fuel is NOT noisy now, Get a bit more comfortable in the Corrado,although it has always got me home so can be all bad

Also check your wiring,l have had a few problems with engine starting,cutting out dew to wiring being snapped,you will not see the wires snapped as they snap inside and the cover of the wiring looks ok. Hope that makes sense -
Carried checks on my Corrado 2.0 16 v .found the wiring under the rubber cover that goes to the temperature switch had fell off,also found the wiring to the throttle body ( 2 out of the 3 wires was snapped) repair the wiring and now starts,runs spot on.

So go for a drive in the Corrado today as just replaced the in tank fuel pump.runs spot on Found the passenger window jamming on the way down.removed the door trim,found window reg jamming on the wiring,air pipe.Wiring had not been secured and found snapped wiring Repair and secured the wiring When locking the car from the passenger side all locks work,when lock from drivers side boot,petrol flap,drives door locks ,but the passenger side will not lock ,unlock The locking motor is working on the passenger side with the key When locking /unlocking the car the air pump runs for about 30 seconds stop then runs again for another 30 seconds

Selling my Corrado 2.0 16 v in Aqua Blue as it never gets used dew to family health (not me) Was going to use on Sunday’s,car shows ect,but it’s just seating in the garage I am the 6 th owner have history of the previous 5 owners,MOT 8 September 2018,mileage 151;853 no advisory’s Have a lot of history with this car,carried out a HPI check ALL CLEAR The is no rust on this body,or chassis on this car, Has covered 151,887 miles,looking at the front and rear looks like it has never been damaged The previous owner had a full window out repaint in 2015 at the cost of 1,8600,by Liam Kenny All bummers,doors,bonnet,boot lid line up perfect,no water leaks into the car,has 3 keys,lnterior is very clean,very slight where on the o/s Front Seat This Corrado has had a lot of new parts fitted by me and previous owner,Here’s the parts l have fitted ALL PATRS ARE NEW.front,rear brake calipers,braided brake hoses,rear brake pips on the rear axle,dizzy,battery,wipers,engine mounts x 3,door mirror glass x 2,front/rear coilovers,radio/ sat nav ect,clutch master clylinder,brake fluid change,steering wheel,rear window tint,in tank fuel pump,all petrol removed and tank cleaned out,sump gasket,sump has been paint,inlet manifold,rocker cover has been removed and painted Previous owner has fitted the following parts .Bills to prove Engine strip new head bolts,gaskets,clutch,clutch slave clylinder,lower suspension arms and ball joints,anit roll drop links,top suspension mounts,o/s drive shaft,radiator plus coolant,brake pressure regular cam belt,water pump,lots of new engine sensors,ASB sensors,The wheel rims have been stripped and repainted,the rims are original rims, Had a service before I got the Corrado The is play in the gear linkage but the is a bush kit for the gear linkage I may have missed some information.Has not covered a 1,000 miles in the last 6 years The condition of this Corrado is excellent inside and out for a 24 year + car.Not a 100% compared to a new car, but as near as you can get Car is in Liverpool As you can see the car has covered 34 miles from the MOT,14 miles where getting back home,have not used the Corrado for some time (moved it the the top of the drive on Christmas Day so my drive did not get blocked started ran excellent) You are welcome to see the Corrado have jacks axal stands to check it over,If any club members are close happy for them to check over so everyone knows the information is correct For photos more information email on email [email protected] or text on 07715530525. I had a hot start fault engine temperature sensor fault,New sensor had been fitted (by previous owner) Found that the wiring under the rubber boot had corroded and fell off the wiring pins,replaced the wiring and now no hot starting problem Also found wiring to the throttle body switch had corroded,carried wiring repair and now excellent idle hot and cold

Where about in the fuse box is the 109 relay Sorry for hi jacking your thread as my 2.0 16v does this
