  1. 4-branch stainless, but then you knew that already.....
  2. It's a 1991 MK2 Golf G60 manifold and will be going onto a 1992 Corrado G60 :confused4:
  3. Hey all, This might seem like a silly questions but will a "LHD" manifold fit a RHD car ? What are the actual differences between the manifolds ? Cheers, BigTartanJudge
  4. Hey all, I am trying to source a stainless 4-branch manifold for my Corrado G60. Now when my engine-builder was at GTi International he noticed a vendor selling custom-built stainless manifolds on a trade stand, but he cant remember the name of the company. All he remembers is that they were based on the south coast somewhere, possibly Southhampton area ? (it wasn't G-Werks BTW) Does this ring any bells with anyone or can someone suggest / know who the company might have been ? Cheers
  5. Going to start to get all my sets of wheels refurbed. These are one of the sets of wheels that may end up being on the rado when it is finished: Thinking of getting them either fully polished (see below) or crackle-black centres (see below) In any case, centre-caps will be polished with detailed Porsche crests, (see below) What do peeps reckon ?
  6. Found a vid of my old white G60 on the rollers. The engine that was in it back then, is the current engine in my blue rado. The whole engine / gearbox (minus charger, intercooler) will soon be for sale, nice :)
  7. The guy selling this is running coilovers and 8 x 15" fronts and 8.5 x 15" rears: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=92548 For reference, standard BBS RM's are 6.5 x 15" in size and ET33 with a 0.5" lip which gives the following: 7 x 15" = 1.0" outer lip and ET25 7.5 X 15" = 1.5" outer lip and ET17 8 X 15" = 2.0" outer lip and ET9 8.5 X 15" = 2.5" outer lip and ET1 HTH
  8. Cool, thanks. Do you have a username for him as I'm not registered on there. Yeah, but then it is going from Southend in Essex to west of Aberdeen so I don't expect it to be particularly cheap  Lisa, I have just had a very similar length of journey completed by a private contractor (595 miles one way) and the cheapest I could find was £375. Guy is very good and there was no problems at all. PM if interested and I will pass on his details. Cheers
  9. Something along those lines :D Complete current engine / gearbox will be for sale soon (minus intercooler, charger and few other bits and pieces)
  10. Yup, it's been there a good long while but finally bit the bullet and it's gone away to finally get all sorted out. You must have seen my daily sitting there too though (your old one) ?
  11. Well it's been a while since I updated this thread (like a year, oops) but things are finally starting to happen..... She's on her way.....watch this space
  12. Get the standard lights top-tinted and three-bar debadged black front grille = win 8)
  13. Not sure on the front splitter being CC'd and the grille, kinda needs some black to break it all up IMO. Also, you need to lose the rear lights  Delocked handles too maybe in black to break up the sides ?
  14. Apart from the corrected cost, the rest was from a website. Forgive me for thinking some folk might be interested
  15. i don't believe so... it's something silly like £300k[/quote:3kfh3zfu] No, production starts in December 2010. The LFA is powered by a 4.8L V10 that generates 552 horsepower at 8,700 rpm and 354 lb.-ft. of peak torque at 6,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox (ASG) with paddle shifters. It is capable of reaching 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph. List price is approximately £250,000.
  16. The flange, as in the air-intake or the outlet ?
  17. After Aberdeen's very own bomb scare last week:
  18. So go on then man, which car is it your interested in, the MK5 GTi ?
  19. Hey all, merry xmas. I was thinking about replacing all the sensors on my G60 engine when all the other engine work will be carried out. Trouble is, I don't know how many there is and where they all are, the only ones I know of are the lamda sensor for the exhaust, (blue ?) coolant temperature sensor, and the CO pot in the boost-pipe. Could someone help me out with the names and location of any others ? Cheers, BigTartanJudge
