  1. Right, Not that up to speed with ICE stuff, so I have a couple of questions for peeps who know what they are talking about when it comes to audio. I'll try and make it as straightforward as possible. I intend to run the following speakers in my corrado, which are currently not connected up due to other ongoing work: Fronts = DLS R5A reference series 5.25" 2-way components with cross-overs see here: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /5567.html Rears = JBL GTO6428 6 x 4" 2-way speakers see here: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... oduct.html Subwoofer: MB Quart PWH 302 12" subwoofer See here: http://www.caraudio4u.co.uk/mb-quart-pw ... ubwoofers/ Basically, the question I have is can I run all these speakers off this single amplifier ? http://www.caraudiodeals.co.uk/genesisp ... p-167.html Or do I need a separate amplifier to run my subwoofer like this: http://www.caraudiodeals.co.uk/genesiss ... p-180.html What's the verdict then folks, any advice appreciated :D
  2. Wheels look ace mate, Stern reverse face II's right ? What PCD / offset / width are they ? Always wanted a set but usually PCD / offset / width's were just silly I have found. Finish looks great, did you paint them yourself ?
  3. Looks nice mate, good luck with the 8V turbo project. Sure you don't want a 245 BHP G60 engine in there ? :norty:
  4. They don't distribute them anymore: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=95463
  5. It's ok, but TBH apart from having a funny mirror, a smoothed front bumper, a good paint-job and a nice set of wheels I don't see what's really that amazing about it at all ? There are plenty of other corrado's that have had much more work go into them and that look a lot better IMO
  6. Missed last run, but am up for one if a second run goes ahead ? :D
  7. Yep, no holding out much hope. If anyone has this guys mobile number or address please feel free to drop me a line, cheers.
  8. It pains me to do this as it's the first time I have ever had to post in here about a failed purchase. Agreed a sale with forum user, mal35d, for a corrado bonnet bra, delivered for £50, see thread here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=98187 A took around a week to make payment, however, I was having difficulty accessing the internet from where I was based and I was in touch with mal35d to explain. Having made cleared payment on the 2nd of November I waited until around 2 weeks after I had made payment (i.e. item had still not been delivered by this point) to start chasing him. I sent him a PM every couple of days since then and have never once received a reply. I finally managed to get his email address and then emailed him with the following: From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: re: Corrado bonnet bra Date: Sat, 20 Nov 2010 15:46:47 +0000 Dan, I have tried to get in touch with you by sending numerous PM's. You've now had payment for the bonnet bra for nearly 3 weeks and I am still wating for my item to be delivered. Please reply to this ASAP so I do not have to take any further action. Regards, Struan / BigTartanJudge I received the following reply a day later: "hi there sorry i have not checked emails, as the bra was posted?! i will get you a tracking number " I have since emailed him a further 4 times and PM'd all to no avail, so looks like I have lost my cash to Mr. Daniel Mallard, and I'm not happy about it either :censored: peteg60 has also have no response and is still waiting for his item, just wondering if this has happened to anyone else that have dealt with him or or any other forums ??
  9. Sounds good mate, will only require the centre-tunnel trim and gear-surround doing though. I will have a spare set of centre-tunnel trims in next few days, so if you can PM me with delivery details I can get them sent off to you. Cheers :D
  10. Found what I'd been looking for complete still wearing old registration  Now just have to decide what to do, as due to the total ambiguity of current number plate laws, I'm not sure a US-sized plate will go down too well (even tho as long as plate meets size reg's it should be fine (5-digit registration so will fit).
  11. I have DLS Reference Series components in my C, sound amazing. Also, the Pioneer head-units are supposed to be very good see here: http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/12 ... index.html As are the Alpine's: http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/pro ... -x311.html
  12. Here's the colour's I am considering for the wheels: Lighter anthracite: Ignore the Blue Oval..... Dark anthracite: And the rank outsider, standard silver: Finish can either be satin or metallic, either way, wheels will have blue detailing touch's i.e. valves, decals and centre-caps, opinions peoples ??
  13. Cheers Paul, aye it is, took me long enough. But had to take some time to build-up funds and finish collecting parts, plus with my mum passing away after her illness last year and being away so much, car-related things kinda took a major backseat for a while. There was never going to be any point in doing a half-arsed job of things, wanted to go the whole hog, in some ways kinda as a tribute. Not convinced on the standard silver option at all, 7" are wide enough for the Brembo's but other wheels I will be fitting are a little wider. Don't want to be fitting silly widths, or going for this "stanced" nonsense :camp:
  14. Right, looking for opinions on what to do with the wheels, these will be the main day to day wheels, I have another set in mind to fit for fairer weathers etc. Thing is, I'm not 100 % convinced on the colour of the MO's, think they are possibly just too much of a contrast (plus, although not kerbed, they could do with a repaint anyways). So....was thinking about giving them a colour-change to maybe dark anthracite, what do peeps think ?
  15. Most of engine in now 8) Schrick oil-pan with new gearbox in place and refurbed & rebuilt subframe all mounted up All new brake-lines
  16. Well tbh they were sold very cheap at £650, they are worth a bit more than that for sure. And sounds as though he spent a bit on a refurb / colour-change too. Whether or not they are worth what's he's asking, I'm not so sure
  17. Is it the member that is covered or just the car ? How are they covering modified vehicles, e.g. lower than standard etc.
  18. Just so I'm clear on this, the price is £160 to trim the complete centre console (3-pieces) including the gearshift plastic including postage ? How much would you charge to retrim a leather steering wheel ?
  19. Arz tuning also do one, pretty good price for a complete new unit I thought: http://arz-tuning.de/shop/product_info. ... odels.html
  20. John, We need to talk, will give you a call tomorrow :D
  21. I don't think you can go 2.1L on an 8V G60 ? Most I have heard of is 2031cc.
  22. They do have a website, but it's under construction at the moment: http://www.johnmitchellracing.co.uk/ Better to give John a call, his number is: 01903 718684 (workshop). He is 16VG60 on here, top bloke and really knows his stuff about G60's :D
  23. I have used JMR for my last two charger rebuilds / porting. Before that I used G-Werks. It has been said that Jabbasport are concentrating more on big power / 20VT stuff these days, although they have been arounda long time. If it was my money, I would be sending it to JMR who are much closer to you, being in West Sussex :D
