  1. Thhe crystal smoked ones are in the pic fitted to my old white G60 on the previous page. Please don't get either of the bottom two ones you put pics up of, they are gash :nono:
  2. Because we are not trying to pass off a vehicle as an actual genuine Lambo ??
  3. Here's my white rado with DIY half-tinted rear lights, I think they look ace ;-) and here with FK smoked rears Going to try and turn these bottom ones into proper crystal top-tints with black tinting spray. I bought the Foliatec / Savage tinting spray from a local car accessory shop but you can also find it on eBay. The key is good preparation if you are doing it DIY. There are a couple of very good DIY tinting guides available, including one on here - wiki guide. I also bought these recently below, which were FK crystals done with red tint spray. I have another three sets of lights that I might have a go at doing either black top or re-tinted. Cheers
  4. You can still buy uprated looms on eBay. I had one fitted though and it ended up screwing up the electrics on the car so I ripped it out. I have angel-eyes fitted and they seem brighter than standard rado lights. I also have an HID kit waiting to be fitted. However, I am not going to be using an uprated loom with them as it is really not needed. If staying close to standard I would get uprated loom if well made and can be installed correctly and well and uprated bulbs. If wanting "night and day" difference then get and fit HID kit and fit and forget
  5. MK3 Golf and Passat 16V CHA boxes fit and ratios are good, best would be a 16V or G60 box with VR ratios or as mentioned above a diesel box. Good recon boxes should be available for about £150-£200.
  6. Not seen a chromed set before but have seen a set mirror-polished (lookes like chrome anyways, just a lot cheaper and longer lasting finish).
  7. No probs Jon, no worries about the wheels, they got sold last week over on edition38, albeit for quite a bit less than they were worth but ho-hum :?
  8. Don't get me wrong here it and the whole build is very impressive and very detailed etc, but at the end of the day it is still a replica / kit car built with what seems like non-genuine parts etc. I'm not sure Lambo would be happy with their name / badges etc. being put to a non-genuine vehicle. And to be fair, it probably cost almost the same as a real one to build in that level of detail ! :?
  9. Mmmmm, new brake bits goodness, see below: BEFORE Going to attempt to paint red tonight, should look ok, will post "after" pics when done
  10. Seat Ibiza Cupra are 4x100PCD 280mm discs, Ibiza Cupra R are 4x100PCD 305mm Brembo discs / calipers.
  11. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/609439.htm I might be mistaken but think this may have used to belong to a forum member, Tandino ? A lot of car for the cash tbh.

  14. I've never heard a Clio quite as insane as this in my life.....just amazing, end of. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zZvcQ27aW ... re=related
  15. No it wasn't turbo'd, it was a 2.0L 8V G60 x-flow using the G60 charger, see below:
  16. I had Gotti wheels on my over 2.5 years ago on my rado, then I sold them :brickwall: currently sitting on a MK2 for sale over on ed38.
  17. Dunno, there is plenty of info on these set-up's over on VW Vortex though. I know of one crossflow G60 that was in a silver MK2 that made around 300BHP. It was a demonstrator car for a US-based tuning company. I think they went out of business though and are no longer around. Its always been something that I have wanted to do though, as I can't justify spending another £2000 on a Eurospec or similar CNC-head for the relatively small amount of gains to be had. Also, don't particularly want to spend another £2000 on a 1.9 or 2.0L bottom end conversion either. I had seen that head for sale over on edition38 too and was thinking about getting it....but like you too late. These and similar heads are ten a penny over in the US, would be quite easy to pick one up I reckon, although postage would be a bit exp.
  18. andy, if you can confirm the ones you have are the DDi blue mirror glasses, I will 100% take them for the full asking price please PM with payment details, Cheers
  19. The green one is a Kawasaki z1000, looks like an 05/06 bike I think ?
  20. Ooo, someone over on edition38 didn't like me pointing out that Cup 3 wheels don't exist
  21. Aye, as with all things though as as the saying goes, "if your not fast, your last" Why not just order some from DDI in the US, they are only £46 delivered.
  22. LOL, found a couple of rude plates for sale, M351 UTS, M335 LAG and best of all ORG 45M
  23. Very true, Porsche never made a "Cup 3" wheel, seems to be what people call them though. The actual wheels that look are Carrera 2's (17") or Turbo 1's (18"). There is also currently two sets of the mythical "Cup 3's" for sale over on edition38: http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.p ... pic=182548 http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.p ... try1561093
  24. Here's is a forum member that has one fitted to rado VR6: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=15319&st=0&sk=t&sd=a and thread on my rado with the VW T4 vent fitted, viewtopic.php?f=11&t=23509&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=90 HTH
