  1. Enjoy it Karl - I look forward to seeing how you 'improve' upon my canvas :?
  2. Many thanks to all for your assistance. For future reference, the link offered by benkitcher has very clear and direct instructions with step-by-step pics and is most useful 8) .
  3. As per title - have stripped out all the easy bits, the only bits left connected to the car are the glovebox and the dashboard itself. Don't want to dive in before knowing what damage I'm gonna cause so... Does anyone have a step-by-step guide for muppets from here? Many thanks for lookin'...
  4. Surely not, methinks tis the satellite dish by which the latest melodies might be downloaded direct to the mp3 player in the boot...
  5. I must say that's lookin good Bally 8) - now all you need is a video of some sideways action round them MK roundabouts
  6. It's the emblem for rs-tuning.hu (I only know this because I REALLY liked the black teflon creation on the cleaned.be stand at UltimateDubs06 and followed it up a bit) - I suppose the Panzer connection is no less obvious than sticking the Confederate flag on the roof of the Robert E Lee in Dukes of Hazzard
  7. Trust me... Vince and his boys don't get all this positive feedback for nothing :!: Nice to see another C floating around on this patch - maybe see you again when the sun comes back out
  8. INCLUDING if you've got an upgraded loom
  9. You sure that wasn't storm grey  I'm on that stretch quite often and I NEARLY put up a post on the "spotted" thread on Thursday :D BTT - I still use Stealth for all my mechanical work/tests even though I've moved forty miles further away: "For health see Stealth"
  10. I have them on my VR. The only 'gap' is where the angel eyes sit deeper than the oem headlights leaving the grill sitting slightly proud. See HERE and find out if it's enough to put you off fitting them :?
  11. It's about time I updated both pics and specs of my C. These currently stand at... Powertrain:- GruppeM ramair induction Brushed inlet manifold Milltek s/s exhaust Handling:- Eibach front and rear anti-roll bars H&R height-adjustable coilovers Brembo 4-pots on 323mm cross-drilled discs (front) Standard calipers on Zimmerman cross-drilled discs (rear) Goodridge braided lines all-round OZ-Racing SuperTurismos, 8J x 17, powder-coated and colour-coded Vision:- Lupo wipers Upgraded headlight loom Aesthetic (exterior):- Rieger GTX front bumper In.Pro angel eyes In.Pro M3 (clear/red) rear clusters [Now removed and replaced with OEM] Clear side repeaters De-locked (Passat) handles Interior:- Momo Millennium steering wheel Trimsport alloy gearknob Adjustable alloy pedals Colour-contrasted ancillaries Keyless start To come:- So many ideas, so little money...
  12. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight= Zippy, if you do change the starter motor, the info within this thread is simple  but important
  13. Trying not to hijack thread but answer question  the fit is rather precise Kev - they sit within the arches at the top but extend beyond them as they swathe in. The easiest way to show this is to offer another pic... Thank you kind sir.. :notworthy:
  14. You could go OZ-Racing SuperTurismos, powder-coated and colour-coded, 8J x 17s, ET 38, and not have to touch the arches like me (I'm on H&R coilovers myself) :)
  15. A more comprehensive view...?
  16. Why, thank you kind sir! :notworthy: BTT, the wider wheels do tend to tramline a bit on the open road... but give a much better feel for the track! As for the 17s vs 16s debate... I run OZ SuperTurismo 17s and repeat my earlier comment
  17. Just about what I'd come to expect. Oh well, at least the 'stone-chipped look' fits in with the rest of my front end. Thanks for the info anyway, Steve
  18. Not sure about the effects on handling re. 8js on rear with 7Js on front - I have 8Js all-round and have no complaints whatsoever :norty:
  19. Jade, I too would like to know the response to this... for quite different reasons though Jay  . As those of you who turned up at Ultimate Dubs will have noticed, one of mine has a stone-chip (another job to do!).
  20. Well that's the way I feel about my ITR DC5 (and it sounds like my earlier post you're discussing further up this thread!). To slightly widen the debate, if the choice you're making is between a DC2 and a VR I'd go with the latter because I felt the DC2 to be just that little too raw and I have to agree with the comments made above about the merits of the VR - however, as already stated, if it were between a DC5 and a VR...
  21. Today (Mon 27), Green standard but clean-and-tidy looking valver "XOI ****", A6 Barrow/Quorn to Belgrave - I flashed to let you out and waved but got no response... Your right foot got heavier when I passed you though
