mk2 syncro is a 5 door 1.8 carb as base spec in this country mate.... rough ones that are suitbale for breaking seem to go for between £250 and £500...but they didnt sell that many over here in the first place. other option would be to buy a mk3 vr6 syncro to break.....but you'll still need some parts from the mk2 golf. would be safe to say that its a bit of a mission...and not cheap.

a car is onyl worth what someone is willing to pay. parkers denotes what dealers/traders are willing to pay. a decent vr6 corrado with low miles for less than £4k is a bargain at the moment. storms are jus t a rip off, period, no matter what owners and idiot motoring journalists may tell you.

thats going to be a difficult one.... for example, looking through the looms available for the dashboard, there are 6 different ones depending on if you specify heated seats, electric seats, centre gauages from the factory, surround sound(yes theres a loom for it...). not sure where you would start to be honest!

from what i can see it makes more sense to convert a vr6 engined corrado to a 20vt than anything other base car.... if you can get a good 20vt conversion done for £3500...thats really not bad
