  1. I like it alot. Surely the point of car design is that things change with time....the corrado design is nudging on for 20 years old now.....this is something new. Might be worth remembering what an awful lot of vw enthusiasts seem to forget... VAG is a business, theyre tailoring their cars to people that can afford them new, which isnt nescisarily us....
  2. reading all the articles that talk about the vmax roll out, it sounds like it going to run alongside optimax...that would be daft though. this weeks cheapest super cam from tescos at winchester...93.4p a litre for 99ron ;)
  3. what are you doing with those handcuffs?! back i tell you! back! apparently its 3.8mm internal diameter.....curely that cant be right, they wouldnt use a custom hose would they?!
  4. sorry matey, i thought engine bay meant anything under the bonnet. i was wrong, please dont lock me up.
  5. does anyone know what size it is? looking to replace it all as its a bit skanky..... 3mm or 5mm seem to be the options....
  6. i wondered if theres a bushing on the hinge like there is on newer vw's? they quite commonly snap on lupos and cause similar problems? looking at the rubber on the bottom of the door its also very still, might try some of the swissol rubber car to make it a bit more supple....
  7. all the fit looks ok...wondering about wether the door knob bit on the B pillar needs replacing as the rubber bushing seems to have worn through....
  8. Ive had a good read of all the threads that the search brings up...but cant find an answer. Has anyone actually bought these and tried them for a period of time? opinions would be useful.... ive tried p6000's, avon z1's and toyo proxes t1r/s before...not keen on any of them tbh....
  9. happening on both sides, it looks like lower door rubbers are scraping along the sills as the doors are closed.... and where theyve sat closed the edge of the sill cover has a hairline of surface rust. any ideas? has a mounting somewhere done the off/dropped?
  10. Indeed Golf Limited, also on silly low miles and owned from new. Possibly the car that Jay is after, but it is not in any way for sale, that was made very clear to me - I would image they get asked a fair bit. Shes nudging on 60 i would imagine.......I wouldnt touch her with yours...
  11. I can kinda guess where in the area she lives....apparently shes got a new cayman as a daily car...her husband also has a limited and a 1979 mk1 gti. They sold the dealership out a good few years back, but theyre obviously keen on the german marques. If i see her again i shall ask to take some photos!
  12. It was soo nice, still had new car smell....bit of a waste though.
  13. Spotted at a petrol station near J18 of the M25, stopped and spoke to the lady driver. Her family used to own the local vw franchise and apparently heres is the last registered corrado in the UK. Midnight blue with black recaro leather, additional gauges, aircon...and 12,400 miles! absoloutely gorgeous. apparently it lives in a carcoon and only comes out on specail occasions.... so jelous.
  14. http://www.premierwiring.co.uk/ froma quick google...cloth loom tape £3 a roll.....

  18. when we rebuilt my vr a couple of weeks ago we had huge problems with the shitty little 90p gasket inside the housing where all the pipes join the block.....we4ll worth investigating for 90p....

  20. well that was easy to fix. turned out the door actuator was attatched to.....nothing reattached, everythings working. also the side impact bar was loose in the bottom of the door with the bolts sellotaped to it....
