Not exaclty a problem that needs solving, as such, so I'll put this into caring and repairing. :)

So I guess you wouldn't want a mint cloth interior + £ for the leather? :D (If you don't ask, you very rarely get :))

Classic green comes with cream leather. It's mystic blue that comes with black leathers. I don't want the whole car, but would take the leathers off your hands ;) :lol: I'm assuming that you would sell it on for about £3kish? Or is that the price you can get it for? If you're going to sell it for £3k then I'm sure it would take someone's fancy. At least you're not trying to hide the history of the car, which will be appreciated. :)

No aircon was an option. I'm being a complete muppet as well (not for the first time they cry!). I'm looking at a pic of Fec's interior and thinking it's Jedi's! Sorry - that's what I was on about above when I was saying to Roddy that the interiors are quite different. My mistake :lol:

That's what I mean, some people will try and get £10k for a mint low mileage car (ok, in this example it's also a Storm). Depends a lot on the motivation of the seller as well.

Isn't that dash grey? Or is it just a trick of the light? The blacks look black, and the cream carpet looks cream but the rest of it looks grey - could just be a bad picture though. The gearstick surround is definitely black instead of cream though.

lol - that's the problem - it started out as a 'does my spoiler.....' thread and ended up as a 'persuade Kev that the spoiler doesn't create downforce' thread :lol: Still good reading though :)

Arrrgh!! Not again!!! Big thread on it - end result = spoiler does not create downforce, but rather prevents uplift by distorting the airflow. Or something along those lines :lol: (if you're interested, search for spoiler and it's called something like 'spoiler doesn't work below freezing'.

It's worth what you're prepared to pay for it ;) Sounds excellent though. People might pay up to £10k for it but I think about £7k to £8k assuming it is absolutely mint.

I really hate to tempt fate, but the only money I've spent in the last year other than normal wear and tear items is a door handle and a wiper mechanism. Total is around £55. Full VWSH with a service about every 3k miles :)

Do it up. No point scrapping a C if it's recoverable.
