http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36178 zymol always gets good results , if its polished already and your just topping up then put the polish on with a damp (warm water) cloth , this stops too much polish going on and the needless waste of time getting the excess polish off
-
logicaltuning, cheers dude , i am tempted , just put the TB on but yet to go for a run , brrrr cold out there

iow_corrado_g60, its worth a go mate , it should reduce the damping action, so less movement , yeah its a pain to get in there , sure i used long nose pliers but you dont get much of a turn on it , the alternative is to take the side shelves out :-( -
triggermyson, yep i did , it does seem too clean to put on the car :-)
-
you need to either buy height adjusters from VAG(about £7) or remove the adjusters from your standard lights. is the beam pointing too high ?
-
you are supposed to swop your adjusters off your old headlights mate

i've got koni coilovers, you can use a key but tbh its useless for the rear as you need to remove the speaker shelves to get it in, i used some pliers on the rear and the key on the front anti clockwise makes it firmer as youcan see from the pic -
:-) long arms and a lot of knuckle scraping saves you unscrewing things LOL
-
iirc its tricky to re use the seals on the rear quarters, once they're out its a pain to get them back
-
dinkus, Dom the loom is simple but i would get a 2nd hand one if possible , it would be much too costly to make your own , iirc the switch is £65 +vat and the relays are £35 each from the stealers i thought my relay had died (found it was a dry joint in the end) and i couldnt get one anywhere, i was told they are specific not generic fitting isnt too bad , probably 3/4 hr ,front seats out and route under the carpet , job done
-
ben16v, they have their own switch mate, different switches for early and late aswell
-
yeah they will be for heated seats i'm sure, which arent too easy to come by, it consists of the switch ,two relays and the loom, once you get that they are easy to wire in,i did mine , toasty at this time of year :-)

To decide whether or not a vehicle should have a catalytic test the MOT garage will have an official booklet which clearly states not only which vehicles should be so tested but also what the limits should be for that specific vehicle. Certainly most ‘K’ registered vehicles would need a cat test. I suggest you go to the garage and ask them to again check in their emissions booklet with respect to your vehicle. http://www.motester.co.uk/qanda2.html clear as mud :( Your final alternative is to telephone the VOSA ‘hotline’ the number will be on the reverse of the MOT failure certificate, and ask their advice.

Catalytic Converter Replacements For vehicles registered before August 1992 catalytic converters are not a legal requirement for MOT testing. They can be removed and replaced with straight through pipes. Benefits are up to 2mpg saving at cruising speed, small increased mid range power, any garage can check emissions, no more rotten egg smells, standard mild steel exhausts will last longer due to reduced sulphur which is a by-product of the catalytic converters. http://www.senator24v.co.uk/cats.htm
-
92 iirc , basically if your car was made with a cat then it should be on it
-
either look in the for sale thread for a 2nd hand one or try taking it to where it was mot'd last time, post in the wanted thread have you tried pricing a sports cat , milltek or supersprint ?
