Sorry to hear that stan. maybe you should look into getting a brand new bottom end from stealers, shouldnt be allot more than a grand could be wrong tho
-
all of the above plus strip it out! most cost efective upgrade(cost nout) you can do if you not bothered about having couple of lightweight buckets and nothing else with loads of noise than thats the way to go get rid of what you dont need should be like gaining 25 bhp
-
what size wheels and what profile tyres have you got? any bushes beign swapped for poly-s? top mounts not standard? springs of higher poundage than they should be? all of the above could be the culprit i guess.... i have set of konigsports with uprated top mounts and standard wheels, ride soffter and less crashy than standard suspension!

I could think of a worse way to spend couple of hundred quid Not to bad at all that for gains it would give me thinks Dont think i'l be asking stealers to get it installed tho!

This winter i will be droping a 2.0l 16v 9a in a mk1 with 02a box and would love to change final drive in the box for better acceleration Any idea where i could get one? And who could i trust to get it installed? Cheers

Last time i dismantled a C, i went troley jack route and it wasnt to bad, but not to sure if its gona be as easy geting it back into the car
-
My car will probably be up for sale soon and if i dont get money i want for it, i will heavily modify it for track use Thats when my welder is coming out again and will turn all mounts into solid ones! :norty: All those vibrations will be my excuse of completely striping it out!
-
This is what i did last time my mount broke! I know it aint prety but it does as good of a job as a VT and it cost me half hr of my free time!
-
Cheers andrew :thumbleft: Good tips there m8 To be honest i kinda knew all of it but its always wise to ask for advice! So the slam panel is best removed, and i have had a pleasure of removing driveshaft torx bits.......aarrgghhh!
-
I think i'l be changing my 2.0l valver engine and box soon Can anyone give me some do-s and dont-s please like do i need to remove slam panel or not.....ect,ect I am swaping it for another valver engine and box Any tips very welcome

My 16"-s with 215/40/16 rubber has very nearly same rolling radius as standard wheels but they look better! Its all down to choice of tyre profile as said earlier. Unfurtonately it doesnt work for 17"-s on rado-s
-
But, just how acurate are the gps systems? 100%?
-
You should due to soooooo much torque advantage!
