Thanks guys, im using the seat carriers instead cos they were 18.00 each, but, apparently (and it hasnt been confirmed yet) i can only use 280mm discs with them?? So i may have to go the expensive route after all of having the carriers in the pic machined to fit VR, in order for the bigger discs, otherwise i dont think i'd benefit much with only 280mm discs?????

If this car is your daily driver its prob more grief than its worth, but, the air near the coast is quite corrosive, and as your in Devon any blocking of the wind etc will help the paintwork. Tonedef makes good points

I have these new callipers but have no idea what size, type they are,(only that theyre red!) So, if anyone can tell me any info, it will be more than i know now LOL, thanks.

Well, apparently the seat carriers will fit the vr (which is bloody lucky at 18.00 each) and be fine for the brembos i have, so depending where they end up then i'll get told what size discs will go-but i'm sure 288s will be fine as ive just ordered new wheels too now.

Only by about a HUNDRED times. Ive got it on vr, and my last G60 also had it. Best kit for the 250.00ish imo. Call Darren at G-werks, he does these kits for a good price. You may want to check which mounts you have because these kits are only compatible with the older style ones so u'd need to order them too, Darren will help though.

Im just about to fit new Brembo callipers to my vr, i want to buy drilled discs too, what drilled discs do you guys suggest? Just to double check, am i right in thinking i can use 288mm discs to my Vr??

Look in the insurance section on here mate. Ive always found premium choice v.good and competitive -0121 311 3100 Youll find after a year the premium will nearly half - unless you crash it Lol. Good luck.

Sorry to hear that mate, its a horrible feeling when that happens. Rarely do you catch the cowards cos they do it at 3am etc. Like DInkus said, its the best possible outcome- apart from being able to unleash vigilante violence on his face.

Ive been working around these cars for over 6years, they are great, ideal and reliable for what you want them for. As for the worrying about the colour - since when has a bloke not been happy to have a bit of pink!! I'd be more concerned if you got excited about a brown one LOl. All the best with the car mate. -

Ive been looking at new wheels and most of the companies ive spoke to dont have the 5x100 plus they are saying that the VR has odd calliper clearance etc. Has anyone else had this problem? or are they just talking BS. These are the wheels - offsets 38. http://www.inovit.com/products/aros.asp http://www.inovit.com/products/hunter.asp - these are in gunmetal with ss lip. Which do you prefer?????

Thats a gorgeous, beastly front end -angel eyes work pefect. outstanding work, I would like to see a HUGE shiney FMI there now or maybe shiney mesh behind the grille! Great tip on the MK2/ Ibiza splitter too...that can go in the new 'mod measurement' sticky thread.
