  1. Even though you practically robbed the wheels off me, i still think they look better on your car  . Looking very good now mate. Glad you like them.
  2. From the research ive done, all the fuss and problems are mainly with the VR because of the wider track, which means any wheels with a dish wont clear brembos. I dont know for sure how easy they will fit, but i have seen a mk2 golf with brembos and keskin kt1's on mate, looked tight.
  3. Welcome mate. Nice car...good colour :D

Theyre worth every penny mate imo. I hd the 16's Do you think having 205 tyres would reduce the rubbing? As you mention it, i'll need to take the corners a bit easy till i stiffen up/change my suspension too.
  5. Son of a Beesting, That looks pretty good, bout the same price as: http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/blitz/boost-dsbc.html which ive been advised is also good. cheesewire, The spring is 17-7PH. I have a 3layer head gasket to safely run upto 17psi if i want. Will also have integrated engine management (fuel & ignition control) so sont know how this affects going standalone ?? Thanks everyone for the info. its all helping me learn :)

Congrats mate, your car looks cracking, I recently had the dilemma of finding wheels to clear the brembos too. Im not surprised you still needed 5mm spacers with the MO's. Where did you buy the 17's out of curiosity?
  7. Right! its all mind boggling for me at the moment. Apparently my 'spring' is adjustable in the wastegate. I get a RS BOV with the kit and 38mm external wastegate. I want the safest most reliable option...not really interested in playing with the boost all the time although going to have it set low for a short while, then increase the power when im used to it.!
  8. I dont know anything about these (obviously they control the boost  ), just wondered if anyone can recommend decent units. Ive only heard of the Blitz specR at the moment.
  9. OOOOOOOOOH...never seen that before  .
  10. Looking sweet mate. The lights make it look a funny brown colour! LOL
  11. So i only need to buy 305mm discs and have them re-drilled if i wanted to stick with 16inch wheels with brembos. Im prob gonna go for the 312mm TT discs anyway.
  12. So i only have to get some 305mm discs re-drilled?
  13. My best mate is filth in the camberly area. He wouldve told me they was using an old banger like mine for jobs
  14. Glad it went well herisites,. Hope your not planning on stealing too much business  Try getting through 2+ cars a day including interiors then see how your arms feel. my knuckles are always dragging across the floor
  15. SKYLINE over an Aston anyday for me. jedi-knight83, Glad uve resorted back to SRP, ive tried endless products over the years and srp works the fastest and easiest for me.
  16. All i would say for first time buffers is dont try it on your Corrado. LOL. Keep the mop slowish and damp otherwise its easy to cock up and cause damage. Make sure ur using the right compound with the right pad in the right way and u shouldnt need to push too hard. Most of all its gonna look better than it did either way so have fun.
  17. Very nice job on the wheels. they look top.

What wheels be they then? I think they suit the car nicely :-)
  19. My weitec kit is a great ride on my VR 40/40 drop. Mines the set drop. so i assume the coilies will be even better!
  20. So whats the benefit/purpose of applying that carnauba wax by flesh then Nath? What brand Carnauba is it?
  21. well i understood what i was saying....must just be bad schooling
  22. investigate and let me know then LOL.
  23. LOL, I mean to my knowledge 312 is the smallest 5 stud disc you can get to use with Brembos, But was asking if anyone knows of 305mm for a VR .
  24. I may get a set too. but 17's. :-)
