Does anyone know which gearboxes bolt straight to a VR if i wanted to upgrade, mainly for coping easier 400bhp, including modern 6 speeds etc???

After a frustrating wait, i can post in here too 8). All thats left to get is an Eloctronic boost controller, exhaust and a few spare tyres :D .

Well i guess that solves my mystery then - cheers. Defo gona look into the 300mm rear discs though, rears look crap as anything with the fronts beefed up.

oh i though that if you had outstanding front brakes and rubbish rears, then that would also upset the balnace...but im just looking into it at the mo.

BIG rear calliper conversion??? Im guessing this isnt straight forward as ive hardly seen any cars with impressive rear brake upgrades......so whats basically involved if, for example, i wanted a set of AP Racing or Brembos and larger discs adapted to fit the rear???? Thanks.

Im after a Blitz boost controller spec-R or similar with 4 adjustable power settings. Just wondering if anyone here can suggest a good place to buy one other than e-bay or knows someone who can? Thanks

LOl..whats the chances of regular customers grassing you up anyway???..just dont have the name written on any business cards, vans or websites and just use the product if you feel its that good. :) Ive never found Zeeiiimol products to be much better than any other of the 100's ive tried in the last 7years tbh...the cars still get dirty!! lol

Too much of a simple wheel to be 'common silver' imo, so having them coloured makes them bit more unique looking, individual etc. Will look good with painted callipers too.

I think Ram Air filter is the best for performance and value..about 100.00 fitted by The Phirm, i wish id gone for one instead of the BMC Carbon air box.

Main issue is that the brembos stick out pretty far on a VR, so u need to select a wheel with exceptionable brake clearance and the right offset. here are some that will clear: 7x17 TT competition 17 Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 8x17 OZ Super Tourismos - Alex303 has these. 8x17inch Compomotive MO 8x17 Rota Forces You can pretty much wave goodbye to anything with a dish. 4 stud corrados are easier with Brembos due to having a shorter track.

VR6 on here has had 312's under 16's but had to grind the calliper slightly so they are tight but it can be done, aslong as your not using Brembo callipers!

What colour is your car mate? Would need to see a pic ideally of the stain, but try soaking the stains with some tar and glue remover. If this or Scratch X hasnt worked then pop to a local valeting company, they can try some compound. The quicker you get it done the better.

10 hours...c'mon boy, speed up. Hope that was the inside aswell? I read a while back you was going back to uni... i think you should buy a lil fiesta/escort van or estate car and chuck your valeting gear in the back for private jobs!!.

If your not lowered then they will be great. Offset is 32 so sit more towards the outside of the arch. Also takes huge brakes too. Ive just sold a lovely set!!
