When & where's this EGM ?? Haven't had anything through the post yet............ :(

Bridgestone S02 "Expedia" used to be the best money could buy - not sure if they're still available though (also very expensive). I think the Expedias were a slightly different compound to the usual S02's Got Goodyear F1's on mine at the moment - excellent grip, wet or dry & good tyre wear. Toyo Proxes give good grip but will be too soft for the hotter climate in Spain. Pirellis offer reasonable grip but the edges wear far too quickly when driven hard or on hot roads Continental are a good all round, reliable, general purpose tyre. Personally, I wouldn't fit Yokohamas to anything but motorcycles & rally cars - their road tyres are sh1te (IMO).

Runs okay on my laptop - windows XP home edition. Maybe some of your internet explorer or proxy server settings need adjusting ??

Shouldn't be illegal if your just "correcting" the mileage to what it should be....
-
Must be the lowest mileage G60 in the country.........
-
Cheeky! That'll look good when you come to sell it 8) Yeah - do you want to buy a low mileage G60 .................
-
Did mine last month - reading about 3k now......

Hi Barney, Found a powerflow dealer here in Leeds, so I think I'll get a bypass from them. Magnex CAT back system is only a couple of months old so I'll be keeping that on (sounds great).
-
I think he's looking for numbers at the moment - roughly how many forum members are likely to attend ??
-
Thanks for the help. I think there will be a UK distributor/importer. I'll have a look around the 'net later.
-
Gonna have to get one soon so I can finish designing my new pipework setup.... :thumbleft:
-
Jabba didn't charge me for a replacement outlet so I'm assuming that they didn't fit one !! :clown: What really pisses me off is that they didn't advise me to fit one or offer/suggest to fit one. (gonna send you a pm about that) You are correct about the boost leak ... :x Both inlet and exhaust chambers were enlarged/ported.

Biro doesn't push the button far enough in on mine - I had to use a bent paperclip. :rambo:

Curently, I'm fitting a large intercooler to my G60. Is the steel strengthening within the front bumper needed for structural purposes ?? I would like to cut away/modify virtually the whole of this steel section. Obviously the mounting brackets are needed but I would like to remove the piece inbetween....

Finally got my new 'cooler, from a Mercedes C-class !! Friend at work is custom-building some new alluminium header tanks to replace plastic originals. I'll be fitting 63mm polished alluminium alloy tubing custom bent & welded to fit...... Would it be a good idea to fit a RSR outlet to my R1 charger at the same time or would Jabbasport have fitted one of them along with the conversion ??
-
Think I'll have a ring round a few suppliers here in Leeds - should be able to get something similar... :thumbleft:
-
So am I - my boot's full of amplifiers, speakers & a can of tyre-weld now.
-
Gonna try some of these next month. Currently "having my pants taken down" by AA insurance. £1600 p/a fully comp (9 points & 2 yrs no claims) 34 yrs old...
-
I'll be in touch when my R1 needs rebuilding.......... :multi:
-
You wanna meet up for the drive down ??
-
I can put mine on the display.......... :multi:

Fortunately the car was registered 3 months before emissions testing became law. I'm gonna throw the CAT away & fit a straight pipe instead. What do I do with the Lamda/CAT sensor ?? The car runs like a bag of sh1te when it's not connected.
-
I'll be there

Doing mine at the moment. :thumbleft: So far I've sprayed them with several coats of black tinting spray - they're really dark now. I've spoken to a friend of mine who owns a bodyshop and he says the best thing to do is to rub them down with a sanding sponge (oblong sponge with rough finish). Give them another light coat of tinting spray & then laquer. Should be finishing mine later this week. 8)

I think you may have to seal the pipe but you should be okay. Try detatching & sealing the pipe with your existing set of clocks still installed. If the car still runs okay then you won't have a problem.
